I was recommended by my podiatrist to go to New Balance and get fitted for a pair of walking shoes. The gentlemen who helped me couldn't have been nicer and was knowledgable. He immediately fit me with a shoe that fit perfect. So happy!

Wanted to go to an actual brick-and-mortar store and saw this NB store had great reviews. Angela greeted me and after telling her exactly what I needed, she went right to work. Paired me with an amazing set of kicks w/in 15 mins. On the pricey side, but well worth it given my feet issues. HIGHLY recommend going to the Oakbrook Terrace location. I will definitely be back for the next pair of sneakers for our family.

I have always had excellent service for over 15 years. I have a wide foot and issues with my feet. The orthotics they sell are better than Scheck and Siress. The orthotics don't fall apart like Scheck and Siress. $700.00 vrs $50... I'll stick with New New Balance from now on. Manager Matt runs a great operation. Now, all they need is some colors in the wide shoes

Long time New Balance customer. First visit to this store and we were promptly greeted by James. He was professional, knowledgeable and personable and was a big help in the decision making process. Will definitely go back.

Just happened into this store to take a look. Had been having a problem with one of my feet and the young man that helped me was extremely knowledgeable and made a great recommendation for shoes and orthotics that feel great. This is a place with solid “old school” service that’s almost impossible to find these days.

Love NB - Love the Oakbrook location! Anna greeted us when we came in, asked what my needs were… showed me the shoe she would recommend… in and out in 15 minutes!! Shout out to Angela too - thank u for helping us figure out how to put my ankle brace on. 😊 I will definitely be back & recommend anyone looking for NB shoes to visit the Oakbrook Terrace location before going anywhere else. THANK YOU LADIES!!!

It is a great store, been going there with my whole family for almost 20 years . Always fantastic shoes and insole support. Matt is the king of making you feel at home, NEVER pushy. Furthermore , Matt ensured that my military discount was applied/credited. These guys are great, get off the computer and come in for some first class treatment. 👍

I was very impressed with the level of service I received at NB in Oakbrook Terrace. The entire staff was genuinely pleasant!
Michael who assisted me was very kind & patient while finding the right shoes to accommodate my orthopedic braces. It’s evident that the staff is trained in podiatry and not just sales 101. They really do put the customer first.
Subtle kindnesses, like giving me a bottle of water without asking, will always win business.

Matt, the manager is simply amazing. After 6 months of owning my 990s, I looked at the tongue only to see that the factory sent me 2E width rather than 4E. He gladly exchanged it for a little lower model that feels much better due to my flat foot condition. The whole store is amazing there and I only buy New Balance shoes. Thank you so much for your great customer service

Just stopping by to say Erika made my first visit to this store a very informative and memorable one. So much now that NB has my preference over any other brand. Excellent product knowledge, and my questions were answered before I could even ask or think of them. The shoe I ultimately went with out of all of her wonderful recommendations has given me the best week in the gym I’ve had in a while! Definitely returning for the other two.

Can't say enough about the customer service here. I was greeted immediately as I walked in and was assisted by Anna G. She was terrific! Walked me over to the shoe display, asked what I needed them for and then she took me over to this scale-like machine that took all kinds of measurements of your foot & arches. From there she was able to make some recommendations. She brought some of the styles out, had me try them on, and was nice enough to show me how to better lace my shoes. Unfortunately the color I wanted was out of stock but she was able to order it and it arrived 6days later to my home, as promised.
This was my first time at a New Balance store and it was recommended by my podiatrist as I have been having some foot/knee/ back issues & I walk between 5-7miles daily. Anna, with her service, left a great impression on me and I definitely will be going back to this location for futire purchases.

My salesman, Don, was very knowledgeable and knew his product.I liked being measured and that it was the way I used to buy shoes decades ago. I was very pleased with the store and the selection. These are such high quality shoes and each pair felt great. I have fussy feet and usually have such a hard time buying running shoes. Also, I like that they take old shoes back instead of adding them to a landfill. That is very responsible of the company, as well. Thanks for such a good experience.

I went to check on some possible New Balance replacements since my shoes are 3-4 years old. I met Matt, who was super helpful. He knew exactly the kind of shoe I needed and it didn’t take long to decide. Professional, helpful & a fun experience. I will continue to go there.

This is the place to buy your shoes. Took my first pair back from other location and withthe 45 day guarantee took back pair of running shoes that ripped in a week worn as regular walking shoes for work. Staff is super nice and experienced. Put me in the right shoes and got second pair with deals from salesmanship. Don put me in solid shoes with roll and not bean bags of running shoes for walking at work. Thank you again, will be coming back whenever these pair wear out.

Matt possessed great knowledge and his customer service was top-notch. I tried a model but ended up buying another model that truly fit my needs. I walked out with great satisfaction and appreciation of Matt's expertise and recommendation. His attention to detail was superb and we had a great learning experience.

Anna and her partner both took very good care of me. They asked what I was looking for and assisted me from beginning to end. They took scans of my feet and used that information to fit me properly. When I was looking at other styles, they would tell me if it was running shoes or walking. They didn't only tell me but also showed me the difference in stability. In the end, I got the perfect shoe that fits like a glove. Thank you both!

This is the third year my wife and I purchased 990’s because they fit so nicely. Both of us walk a lot and have had foot pain in the past so having a quality shoe and a quality fit are most important. Don did a terrific job and Matt remembered serving us before.
