I cannot say enough good things about the natural dog! Don’t let the name fool you they are very much cat people too! I have had so many questions as simple as what litter do you recommend and as complex as changing his diet to help with kidney health, every time I come in they are friendly and helpful! Gina is a wealth of dietary knowledge and has made me much more confident in advocating for my cat! Like I said before, I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop!

Brought my dog in after she’d been on a brief hunger strike. Gina took a good deal of time to listen to what was going on and offer up suggestions to increase her interest in, and the nutritional value of, her food. She was knowledgeable, thorough and genuinely helpful. Sent us home with several samples to make sure we found something that worked and her contact information to make sure we had a resource if any questions arose. I would highly recommend this store to make sure your pet is getting the best nutrition possible. Thank you!

If you’re looking for advice and high quality products, this is the spot! I’d been dealing with a hairball issue with my cat and Jill recommended this probiotic by Wholistic Pet Organics out of NH. Since feeding it regularly, we haven’t had any hairballs!! What a treat! 😹

And just as the named suggests, they’re really well versed (and well stocked) in organic and natural pet foods and products. Highly recommend!

We searched for a year for a food that Olive would eat. I first opted for freeze dried raw because we travel so much, but I wanted the benefits of raw. After trying multiple brands and flavors, she just refused to eat the freeze dried. Being only 5 lbs I was worried she would go a whole day even sometimes two without eating. So we enlisted the help of Gina @thenaturaldog and she put us on this amazing free range raw food made in the US, by @rawdynamic. They have perfect pom sized pieces that thaw in minutes. Olive literally waits at her food bowl at feeding time and eats every last bite!

So glad I found this place!!! My dog was dealing with severe allergies for a few years. After switching him to a holistic vet, and switching him over to a raw diet, the difference in his skin speaks for itself!!! Jill is the best. With all the brands out there it can be overwhelming when switching food, but Jill is super knowledgeable and helpful!! Everything sold in her store is great quality and ingredients you can feel good about giving your fur baby! We can’t thank Jill enough for being so helpful during this transition for us! I will attach a before and after photo to show the power of a natural raw diet. My dog is now off any harsh medications (Apoquel) and doing better than ever!

Small local store. Staff are absolutely amazing. We sincerely make all efforts to shop local so was happy to see a pet store in town. Check it out. Most things are natural, made in small batches and by family-owned companies.
