POP-Maize-N Gourmet Popcorn

We had a great time meeting Sam and sampling his savory, sweet, and premium popcorn flavors. We were excited to see an NC A&T popcorn tin that we were able to get THREE flavors in! We also saw our favorite NFL teams' tins (Dolphins & Ravens), of course. Popcorn was awesome! My husband got Loaded Baked Potato, Chicken & Waffles, and White Cheddar & Jalepeno. I normally don't like popcorn, but that Loaded Baked Potato was something to write home about! We'll definitely be back to patronize this brother's family business.

I absolutely love this place!! Best popcorn flavors around! Just tried the new Chicken and Waffles! Make sure you try the savory and sweet pieces together for the perfect treat! In all honesty though the butter Rum is my favorite! Make sure to try this place out whether you like your popcorn savory, sweet, or even spicy! (They have a spicy mango)

The best gourmet popcorn that I have ever had! The owner was there when I stopped by and he has to be the nicest person that I have met since moving to this area! He had us (my fiancé and I) try new things. We got to sample a different type of gourmet popcorn so we knew that we would like it. I definitely left with a bag for myself (and a smile). It's so delicious. I really like the vibe in there. It was a very nice experience. They even had the "old school" candy on the shelves for sale (that remind you so much of your childhood). Very nostalgic. When I go back (because of course I will), I'm definitely trying the ice cream this time. It's sounds so yummy and (from what I hear) it takes 2 weeks to get there because it's specially ordered from another state. I really liked the cause and the story behind the history of the store and why it's there. It's definitely something that i can get on board with. If you like sweets (or just experiencing nice people at a nice place in general), I highly recommend that you stop by if ever you're in the area. Enjoy you guys! Life is too short!

Some of best gourmet popcorn I have found. The owners are down to earth, very energetic, funny, and honest. Family man and community helpers! This family is hands down some of my favorites! The list of flavors they have now 🤯, the amount of popcorn you get for the price 🎯. You WILL GET your money's worth. I could spend all my money on their popcorn. This afternoon I went in, told me about a new flavor: Chicken and Waffles.... got my taste test, and the verdict: I didn't like it. But that's ok, cause they have sooooo many other flavors to choose from. My top picks would be: Banana Pudding, and Candy Apple 🤤🤤

Everything I am on Mt Holly, NC I stop into Pop Maize. Always friendly workers and of course the popcorn is fabulous. Gotta get a few samples before committing. Check it out.

I loved the popcorn!! Bought myself some savory Loaded Baked potato & my granddaughter Audrina some Cherry !! Was glad I could pick up my Wish order as well, so close to my home. Gonna tell everybody about how good the popcorn is & how sweet the owner was to us.

First, forget everything you know about flavored popcorn, because if you're like me, you expect flavored popcorn to be stale, bland, unimaginative and ultimately, not to taste anything like the "flavors" it attempts to emulate. Enter Pop-maize-N. My expectations were completely shattered by how good this popcorn was. Flavors like s'mores, lemon pound cake and banana pudding might sound too ambitious to be true, but each one is executed flawlessly and really tastes just like its moniker. The banana pudding even has pieces of vanilla wafer! Coupled with the original recipes and surprisingly good flavor is a friendly and helpful staff that makes you feel welcome. One of the easiest five star reviews I've ever written. If you have passed by this place without stopping in, make sure you put it on your to do list. The free samples will guarantee that you don't leave empty handed.

The “Coco Trifecta” is so addictive! You taste the sweet, savory, caramel popcorn, drizzled with dark and white yummy chocolate. It’s a decadent combination! Amazing or n this case, Pop-maiz-n!

When I say this popcorn NEVER disappoints and the taste is consistent no matter when you get it. I'm in this shop just about weekly. We are completely addicted to the Lemon pound cake popcorn. Y'all...... It taste like lemon pound cake. Better for me than the actual pound cake I believe. Please support this business. They sell ice cream as well and own a bakery less than a block away with amazing cupcakes. Please check them out. You will not be disappointed.

This company dropped samples off at my husbands work place and he brought some home for me to try and WOW. its so good!! I didn't think I even liked flavored popcorn until I tried theirs. Can't wait to send him to pick up a full size!

Who would have thought that hanging out in a gourmet popcorn shop could be SO much fun?! We went around 7 p.m. on Friday after our Mount Holly friends told us we had to check it out. Devin was working and we were the only ones in the store, so we ended up staying for a half hour. We had the BEST time chatting with Devin, taking pics and video, and sampling all the unique flavors. Each one was so tasty and fresh! Devin was super friendly, knowledgeable and fun, but he also took the time to talk about how the popcorn was made, told us stories, offered up recs for flavor combinations, and answered our incessant questions. We bought a salted caramel and cheddar combo, cinnamon bun, white chocolate with pretzels, and loaded baked potato with hot cheddar combo. We’re so happy our friends told us about this awesome place. Even though we live 35 minutes away, we will definitely be back and tell others. It’ll be the perfect treat to end the day after a kayak trip at the nearby whitewater center. Best gourmet popcorn place over 20 different flavors, you can mix flavors, you can sample any flavor, awesome tins you can also Purchase like the military, sports teams, marvel and many more. Also, black owned business. Prices are great as well.

My husband and I went in for some ice cream and it was the most amazing ice cream I've ever had! The Michigan Mud Pie did NOT disappoint this chocolate lover. Our last visit we learned they switch out flavors over time, which is awesome! We also were given a popcorn rewards card! Can't wait to go back!

Great representation of each type of popcorn they make. The owner gave us ensight on each style which was savory, sweet and premium. Overall great atmosphere. My brother and I will visit real soon.

Amazing customer service! My daughter visited the store with her aunt & uncle a couple years ago and loved their popcorn. I wanted to order some for them for Christmas but accidentally entered the wrong address. The package was returned to the store and they were gracious enough to deliver it to my relatives who lived in the next town over! Great product, fast shipping (even when you mess up the address), and great customer service. Highly recommend!

I stop through on the rare occasion I get to Charlotte, cool mom & pop vibe in Mount Holly. Just received my quarantine order and it's RIDICULOUSLY good, best tasting popcorn I've ever had.

I just wondered if you realized that the commercial on tv has real problems as to the audio. The music is so loud that you can not hear the voice talking. I am from NC and I love to see local businesses make it good. Just thought you should know, if you weren't aware of it. Your product looks good though. Additional info: I use Dish and I have been seeing it a lot on the History Channel. If that helps.

I have been wanting to visit here for a long time now and the wait was worth it. I never knew so many flavors of popcorn existed or were possible. I will be returning to buy more, especially when I host my outdoor 🎥 night. I am very pleased. I'm going to get a large tin around the holidays to have. You can sample any of the flavors before buying. There are plenty of flavors to choose from and plenty of sizes to meet your preference. Prices are reasonable and clearly posted. I have found a new place to visit often.
