Ernie's Spirits

Ernie's has been one of my main liquor store stops for bourbon since they opened. They always have a huge amount of store pick bottles, many of which have became some of my favorites to sip on, as well as some hard to find bottles displayed behind the counter. Always super helpful staff and leave feeling like I got a great deal on the bottles I purchased. If you're a bourbon drinker, this is for sure one of the first tops you should make here in Lexington.

Great neighborhood liquor store! Large selection of wine and spirits, and an impressive selection of craft beers. Only negative aspect is the lack of ease of ingress and egress due to its location at a busy intersection...other than that, it's my favorite spot to pick up potables.

Great selection, friendly staff. They give you a discount on a case of wine. What more can you ask for?

I have nothing but praise for this liquor store. An employee, Greg, checked inventory before I made the trip to let me know they had what I was looking for in stock. On my visit to the store I was greeted by a very friendly staff. They not only located what I came for, they checked the back to see if they had more, they offered alternatives to try, they boxed my things, and carried it to my car. Exceptional service from Kevin and another young man whose name I did not get. Good customer service is lacking in general these days, but Ernie's really impressed me with their excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend Ernie's Spirits to anyone. Kudos to the management and employees.

One of the best liquor stores in Lexington - they have awesome picks and are very friendly. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for some quality bourbon and whiskey. I consistently drive across town to go there.

This small liquor shop has such a phenomenal selection of craft beers and wine! I come here all the time and the people working here go above and beyond. Friendly service and a hometown feel make this place a real winner!

Tricia was extremely helpful! This place is very competitive prices. Are used to go to Kroger and other stores all the time or red wine looking for different grapes and fortunately the staff at your bigger box stores are not knowledgeable and they don't have the customer service background that people like Tricia, the owner and other staff possess. This is where I will recommend all friends and family go from this day forward. If you haven't been here I highly recommend it. The staff are so hospitable!

Great Service, Selection and Staff!

Awesome store. Great bourbon selection and an unexpected find of amazing Belgian beers. I live in Arizona but would definitely shop here all the time if I was local. Big big thanks to Justin who hooked me up and made me a fan of the store for life. If you are a local, go buy your beer and liquor here!!!!

Wow, we were traveling through and just happened upon this amazing liquor shop and had the best experience. Tammie and Justin provided excellent customer service and top-notch recommendations. Their love and enthusiasm for the bourbon selection was contagious.

The only place I buy my alcohol these days! Kevin and his team are awesome and their service is top notch. They will even carry your bottles to your car, or you can call ahead and they will have it ready for pick up. I also love that if they don't have what you're looking for, they are happy to order it. I shop here because the place is beautiful, they have everything I need, and I love to support local.

Ernie's has the best customer service I've ever seen. This is my local Spirit Shop and I try to go here before I go to the big box stores like Liquor Barn. Kevin, the owner, is awesome. Justin, the store manager, is also amazing. Great place to get hard to find bourbon. All around, the best liquor store I know of.

Fantastic small local store. They guys who work there are super helpful and passionate about beer and whiskey. I'd suggest striking up a conversation, because they know there stuff. They have all of the staple euro beers that I like, and some rarer ones. Although, with current conditions getting shipments is difficult.

I don't want to tell you how great this place is because I feel like keeping it to myself. But that's not me, so this place is honestly my favorite liquor store. I know they got got all the nice hard liquor but I love beer and they sell the best brands. Six point, Decadent and all sorts of other great brands. And the staff is helpful as they can be. This place is what other liquor stores should be like. If you want to enjoy your adult beverage and enjoy quality I recommend Ernie's Spirits. Park on the side. If it's rush hour it is hard to get out if you park in the front. A small down side to enjoy your favorite drink.

Ernie's Spirits has all you need for your adult beverages in Lexington, KY. We moved to Lexington in late 2019 and found Ernie's Spirits soon thereafter. They have very knowledgeable staff and go above and beyond on customer service. They have offered to order things for me if I ever wanted anything different and the store has a good selection of local spirits too.

Nice little store in Lexington. They have everything you'll need. If you are a whiskey, bourbon or rye drinker you'll be in love. Lots of store picks to choose from. Definitely a stop again when I'm in Kentucky.
