Vons

I come here frequently for lunch and to get dinner items. This is the best place to get your mango habanero chicken. However sometimes they do leave feathers on it. I recently had a boar deli sandwich and oh my God if that wasn't the freshest meat and cheese I have ever had in my life. Just be aware not all Vons locations carry the Boar's Head Deli

Convenient location. It's kind of small but it still has a good variety of generic, common, and niche brands for a lot items. Friendly staff. Layout reminds me of the old Vons in Mission Hills. It's a nice, cozy neighbourhood feel.

Always a very clean store. Cashiers are nice and professional. Keep lines moving. Even through the holidays, the lines were kept at a minimum with all cash registers open. I highly recommend this Vons! Update : Busy summer but lines are moving quickly! Come on in!

Our Coronado Vons is on the small side but they still have a decent selection. Its our friendly, neighborhood store. Right now they are remodeling and planning on expanding. .into the building next door. We are finally going to have a big Vons! In the meantime, you can still shop there with quite a decent selection. 😉 7/22. Well, it's now a much bigger Vons as they have also moved into the bldg next door. They have a deli, bakery and all the bells and whistles. 🎉 I promise to take pictures next time.

Great store. Parking is in the back. Its an nostalgic vintage feel but once inside the square footage is used well.
They have a great wine selection.

Terrific selection of plant-based food! Largest of any store we've visited. It is well worth the drive to Coronado to stock up on fresh, chilled and frozen selections of vegan foods! Oh, it is a huge store so you can find just about anything else you need.

Danny is awesome !!! Staff here is so helpful and nice !!! Butcher Block was closed and we were directed to Mr. Daniel and when we asked for some meat he assisted so fast and was patient with us !! Would give 12/10 stars if I could !!! Because the SERVICE WAS IMPECABLE :))

I usually go into a grocery store for the hot foods and I was happy to see that they had everything ready. Also I had to use the restroom but to get to that I had to go all the way around the store to the far back to get to it. You wind up ruining your clothes trying to get to that bathroom. The chicken piece that I requested was actually very well cooked and I trust them more than going to any Ralphs

I love this Von's.. They just expanded recently and have more product. The workers are very friendly and the variety is decent. Produce here is always good.. Look for the weekly specials to save money.. The wine dept is quite extensive.

I go here once in awhile after I have taken my dogs to the beach here in Coronado. It is a small, intimate store with a funky floor plan! Today I was in the produce section and didn't see any bags of plain Russet potatoes. I flagged down a man named Frank and asked him if he had any in the back. He apoligized and let me know that the "load" was running late this am so it may not be stocked yet. He was soooooo nice and let me know that the potatoes are usually on the bottom of the "loads" but he would look to see if he could reach them and it was no problem. As I was waiting I continued shopping and noted that the organic mushrooms I wanted were also MIA. When Frank returned he had a big bag of potatoes and happily gave me one! I mentioned the mushrooms, he said he would have to go back and check again. I told him nevermind as he had already gone out of his way to help me once. He insisted that he look for me and within 3 minutes, he had the mushrooms out too! BIG SHOUT OUT TO FRANK! HE IS KIND, SELFLESS, AND REPRESENTS THE STORE VERY WELL! Man we just flew in from the East. Heading to airbnb and tried a Vons in Coronado for some basic water,eggs,bread,etc. Nicest people and customer service. If you ever been around a New Yorker in a grocery store. This was a pleasant experience for a stranger.

This was Vons Coronado , always very nice cashiers . This store has been renovated and it looks very nice , I really like to go to this store , it gives me an excuse to visit Coronado and do a bit of sightseeing and have a small daycation.

Wheel chair accessible, no handicap parking in front, beautiful flowers, no bakery dept. , fresh deli and cheese available. Medicines, cleaning products, summer toys, decorative string lights, lots of Fab 5 deals! Self check outs!

Update May 2022: remodeling in progress, will have a larger deli. Still a nice store.
Previous review: Small, crowded store but maybe that's the way it is in Coronado. Quick check out process. Nice selection. Convenient location.

The cashier was so friendly! She also saved me $27 by offering me a Vons card. I was in the store 2 days ago and no one offered me a Vons card. I sure would have loved to have started saving money my first trip there!

The cashier name Art was great, even if other cashiers declined to help me with my trans action, he made time to help me out!!! Thank you Art, he helped me on Oct. 10, 2021 at 2pm. I hope his Boss will recognize his efforts in Vons. God bless.

Nice place, but not very big. It doesn't have all the stuff a normal Vons has. But it's still very nice.

They have remodel and expanded the store. It's huge now. Has everything you need.

Store associates here are so nice, eager to help and knowledgeable about merchandise. Customers are sweet too and make it a great place to shop fresh foods and essentials.
