Coronado Taste of Oils

This is my absolute favorite place on Coronado Island. So many wonderful choices! I cannot get enough of the oils and vinegars. Tuscan, Cayenne and Baklouti Green Chili are my favs! The Lemon vinegar I put in my cream cheese frosting and it is amazing! Can't wait to go back and get more flavors. Thank you Coronado team for sharing all your knowledge with the oils.

This is a MUST stop in Coronado. Not only do they have extraordinary olive oils and balsamic vinegars, they are the kindest people and super knowledgeable. They will give you recipe ideas. You can taste the oils and balsamics. We've taken a few exceptional cooking demo/classes there too. So wonderful to cook with these oils and try new ones.

The owner is absolutely wonderful! Not only knowledgeable but passionate about the product. I've never understood bread and olive oil, because I've never had oil like this. The store is gorgeous, also if you don't know how to get in to olive oil, this place is where you should start.

Large selection of oils and vinegars. Very helpful and friendly employees. The oils are a bit expensive but good quality and well worth the price. If you're hoping to up your cooking game this is the place to go.

Happened into this little store and it was such a pleasure. I came in with my sister and my grandson and the owner was so nice. He offered us ice cream with different balsamic and popcorn, he was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We picked up a few items and we’re very pleased. This place is perfect for a little gift for someone. Definitely recommend stopping in for the experience and quality olive oil and balsamic I will definitely stop in here every time I am in Coronado 😊

Do not miss going to the Coronado Taste of Oils if you ever visit San Deigo. Coronado is just 15 min drive from San Deigo downtown. Coronado is a piece of heaven on earth and this store full fills your heaven experience.
The shop keeper is an amazing and very welcoming person.
You can taste a unique collection of olive oils and vinegars with different flavors and they are all so pure and refreshing.
One takeaway: You can mix some types of vinegars with champagne and it tastes very nice.

The employee who greeted us was super friendly and helpful. We tasted and liked several varieties. Worth a stop if you enjoy cooking.

For our second visit to the store we arranged a private tasting event and it was superb. Mike, his wife and assistant were super helpful, entertaining and informative. The range of oils and balsamic vinegars is just out of this world, and when you pair that with the added health benefits of olive oils, you can't go wrong. My favorite part was seeing how sparkling water could be transformed with the flavored balsamics - just amazing. It's the perfect family event if you have grown children or teens who are real foodies. Highly recommend.

I’ve never experienced anything compared to my visit here today. Kent was most gracious and willing to answer all questions. He made our experience here today a memorable one. I’m visiting from out of state, and I very much enjoyed the different vinegar and oil tastings. And the BLACK CHERRY VINEGAR WITH THE ICE CREAM 🥹😭😭 thank you Kent. Best day ever. Left with more goodies than I expected to buy. We’ll be back for more !

Coronado Taste of Oils is one of the best gift shops I have ever visited. Not only can you buy from the most wide and amazing selection of olive oil flavours, you have the same option to buy from as many flavours of basalmic vinegar. The oil and vinegar flavour choices range from sweet to spicy to peppery to EVERYTHING truffle. They even have hot sauces, dipping spices, dishes, utensils, and and tea rose olive oil for the skin to choose from. I shop here for all my gourmet meals when I entertain at home. Stop in and chat with the Mike. He will give you the nicest run down on their fantastically tasty products. Also, he will lovingly wrap your gifts and tie them with a classy bow. They are awesome at shipping products so you can share with everyone you know. Believe me, if you like olive oils and everything tasty, you will not be disappointed with this unique shop!!

I just made my first visit to your oil shop. It was fantastic! The products were very reasonably priced. My son loved the blueberry balsamic vinegars over vanilla ice cream and we got a big jar of sweet garlic for Hubby. What a great shop for Christmas gifts. We will be back for sure.

I stopped by this place with my girlfriend earlier this afternoon and was immediately greeted by the store owner. He invited us to try out an incredibly varied selection of olive oils, truffle olive oils, vinaigrettes, paired with bread, Prosecco, and water. All listed above was complimentary for tasting purposes. The storeowner Mike made a couple suggestions for us to try and helped us navigate our way throughout the store. Awesome store and an even more awesome store due to the store being run by a 24 year Navy vet. Thank you for your service, sir!

Enjoyed my visit here very much. Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a gift for my sister-in-law and they made a nice gift package. I also purchased a bottle of EVO and bottle of Butter Infused Olive Oil for vegetables. Great service

I’ve never really experienced cooking with more top of the line oils like these, I’ve only gotten regular oils from a grocery store but these oils by far are amazing to cook with, it’s worth a stop if you want to broaden your cooking experience and tastes!

Love, love, love, Coronado Taste of Oils. I live out of state now but go to Coronado Island at least 5 times year. I gets oils here because they're the best. The owners Mike and Ruthanne are amazing people. Very knowledgeable with the whole process. I took a group there for a private party friday night and they were so impressed they left with many bottles and alot of knowledge. We love it, we will be back a couple of months with a whole new group. Thank you, Thank you..

Literally the best olives and olive oil I've ever had! My favorite is the garlic stuffed olives and the garlic olive oil! You can also try all the oils before you make your desicion. They also have cooking classes monthly. Also very nice and friendly staff! My go to place for olives and olive oil.
