Giant Food

I honestly think this is a the best pharmacy I’ve ever been to pharmacist are super nice. I want to give a shout out to Kyle the pharmacist for being extremely helpful.

Always pleasant. I've been shopping here for decades.
The pharmacy department has the same people back there all the time ready and willing to help with any questions or other issues. Kyle has been there for years and is never to busy to help. He's awesome. I moved to West Virginia two years ago but continue coming here thanks to Kyle and the others. Great place to do business. I'll continue driving back and forth due to their outstanding business. Unless Kyle starts working in West Virginia near my house.

I don't normally shop at this giant but I ran in really quick because it was on my way home and I need a laundry detergent and it was great because it was Fourth of July and it was right around dinnertime and there wasn't a lot of people there at all because they were all watching the fireworks so it was smooth sailing the employees were in good spirits because it wasn't crowded and they were probably getting time-and-a-half LOL

Friendly pharmacy. Easy to get in and set a vaccination. Whole process was quick and hassle free.

Shelves are always well stocked and employees are friendly and helpful if you ever need assistance with finding an item or 5.

Cashiers are the best in the morning. Thu is probably the MVP of cashiers. She is fast on checking out the items and even faster with bagging them.

The only con of this store is it's lack of white chocolate. Can't have everything I suppose.

I usually don't buy things from Giant stores, but I have to say this store is clean and manage well.
I have been there a few times, and every time the cashiers and store assistants were nice.
As an example,
Recently I visited there, Sunday early morning. The Florist manager just arrived when I was waiting there for a small favor. A very nice and kind lady, helped me and handled my request quickly.

My experience was far better this visit than any in the past. Not that my previous vists haven't been any good. But this visit was great. The whole store was clean, there were staff every couple isles restocking and they were very aware of customers and moving when needed. Judging by the parking lot I was prepared to wait a long time at check-out. As soon as I lined up a manager approached me and guided me to a empty register. The cashier had her light off and was taking a needed break, I heard the manager explain to another employee that that cashier had been there since 6am and it was now 1:30. The manager jumped right in and started ringing me up. I then worked my way to the busy and hectic parking lot and saw a few employees staying on top of bringing the carts back in side. I don't usually write reviews but I am a manager in a service industry and felt the entire staff deserve much needed kudos. Thanks Giant!

Been coming here for well over 15 years. The location is awesome, right next to restaurants, a gym, and I can get in and out within minutes for a quick pick up. Easy access from Dranesville or route 7. Reliable and well stocked, good service as well when you need it.

Great pastry kitchen product with inexpensive price. My 3 years old son incidentally mentioned that he likes green color there. Surprisingly their pastry kitchen staff made special cookies for him with his favorite green icing on top !!! That's world class outstanding customer service ! Their employee went beyond their miles to exceed their customer's expectations.

I had a situation where a woman and her kids were up to no good. I don't freak out easily but this particular situation shook me up. The manager not only talked me through it but he walked me to my car and was so smart, kind and calming. I give Giant 5 stars because of the manager. As individuals we have the ability to make someone's day worse or better. He made it better. We need more people like him in the world and in our every day lives.

I like the staff at this store. They are usually extremely helpful. I never had problem in almost 30 years of shopping from here. Shelves are always stocked nicely and aisles are clean.

Since we moved to Virginia we have been shopping at another market that is closer to our home, however, when I went home for a visit and was reunited with one of my favorite soda pop flavors (Vernor's Ginger Soda), I went on a mission to find it locally. Giant's had it. When I called the store, the girl who answered was so wonderful and even pulled the last item off the shelf for me and held it until I could get there (At almost midnight). A week later, the store called to tell me that they had excellent news, not only was this a regular item but they were out of stock. I have never had a grocery store just call to tell me that my favorite item was not discontinued. Since that day, I am a loyal Giant shopper! They actually care about their customers... that is hard to find nowadays!

I like Giant. I have a ton of choices for food shopping around here but I always go to Giant. I know them and they know me. The manager helped me with my groceries when I was temporarily disabled. He was very helpful and friendly. They have good sales and an easy to use phone app.

Really helpful and friendly staff. The store is well stocked and carries the majority of what we need.

I ordered party trays from this Giant for my daughter's 8th birthday. I worked with Shonda the deli manager. I can't say enough about the experience. Shonda was professional, she listened intently and made suggestions on appropriate food trays based on my kid's food allergies (my daughter has a gluten sensitivity). She was just great! The food was amazing to boot and the price was right. I will be using Giant for my quick catering needs in the future. Why cook it all yourself when Giant does it so well!? Thanks Shonda and your team for working so hard pulling together this party for my little girl in 24 hours!!

Clean organized and quiet! My new go to Giant food...cascade giant is getting grungy with out of date food and a meat department that smells..what happened??

This store falls on my ride home when I'm coming from the north or from Maryland. Very good location, good hours and I'm usually able to find what I need and prices are good and they run good sales.
