Supermercado La Alianza

Soooo SO Happy they opened up this market! I am from Texas, and we had them all over down there and have missed having one closer to home, and this is a really great place with Wonderfully friendly staff and owners. Go check them out for yourself, and you will not be disappointed. A++++

I have to rave about our newest little supermarket in town, Supermercado La Alianza! I went on a whim and WOWZA…was it worth it! Their homemade tamales were out of this world!! The butcher’s counter is unbelievable! The cuts of meat are unmatched in quality anywhere in town! T-bones, pork cuts, sea food, and so much more! Fresh made pork rinds as well. Wish I had gotten a pic of that but alas I was too busy drooling 🤤 I will be going here instead of the other big name stores in town because they quite literally have anything I would need (they even have a small section of toiletries and paper products) By far the highlight of our trip there was the case of Pan Dulce (freshly baked sweet breads and rolls). The churros were delicioso!! Also their Empanadas and Concha’s were delectable! There are even a few selections for freshly made donuts. They have fresh fruits and veggies, some exotic, but mostly what you world find at a farmer’s market and they look locally grown, not wilted sitting in a green house/warehouse for weeks. They have a whole wall of dried beans in every variety you could imagine. And they have a huge selection of spices, dried peppers, and my 12 year old’s favorite, Mexican candies and Mexican bottled drinks. Plus it’s all immaculately clean! The staff is all very friendly and thankful for every customer that comes in. Please be mindful this is a Latino owned business so the cashiers do not speak very much English. I utilized google translate and that worked perfectly for my needs. The owner/manager is bilingual so if you need further assistance he will happily help. Just do yourself a favor and go! You won’t be disappointed. I promise! Plus it’s supporting a locally owned business. I couldn’t be happier that we are getting more ethic food options in our little town😄 They have fantastic hours 7am-9pm 7 days a week. We have been early in the morning and bought their Pan Dulce for breakfast. Goes great with a glass of milk, hot chocolate, or a cup of coffee!

Great selection of hispanic foods, and helpful staff. The pre seasoned fajita skirt steak has great flavor and is a big time saver!

Great Mexican market! Reasonable prices, nice folks, authentic Mexican options and amazing pastries. Their tortillas and tortilla chips are also top notch. We are officially regulars.

This is my new favorite grocery store! The quality and prices can’t be beat and oh my their breads are out of this world!

Out of all the grocery stores I’ve been to, I can truly say this is one of the best. Not only do they have a variety of quality products but the quality of staff stands out. They are polite and are always ready to help when you have a question about something. I will definitely be back!

Nice selection of foods and meats. Produce is cheaper than the big box stores. The tamales are some of the best I’ve had. Employees friendly and helpful. I know some Spanish but signs are in both Spanish and English.

Come and try out the red chicken. You will not be disappointed. They have a lot of really unique items and also a lot of essentials. I go here about once per week now to get meat.

Stopped in to see the offering. Was impressed by the selection and cleanliness. The meat counter was fresh and spotless! Excellent assortment of meats and marinades. Bakery was well stocked and reasonable. Definitely a keeper.

I love this place. The bread is always amazing and fresh. Staff is very nice. Loved the happiness radiating off of Ivan and Paula. They always brighten up the place. Definitely will be back for more bread! ❤🍞

The store offers a high variety in both goods and services, the butcher was my favorite with the baked options as a close second. The store is clean and the staff are friendly and polite! I most definitely will be coming back!

Food was fresh and the service was phenomenal. I was so surprised by the vast choice of items and glad I decided to stop by. If you’re looking for a place to stop by and take a bite or even dabble in some Hispanic food, this is the place!

La Alianza is always very cleaned and well-stocked, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of goods and the prices are very reasonable.
