Smart & Final Extra!

Took about 40 minutes to refund money for butter that I was charged full price for Steph the cashier and the lady manager were amazing patient trying to help me but there's a manager I guess named Ray that was very rude and short and didn't want to help accused me of already using the butter coupon which I never did while I was there waiting for my transactions there was another lady that came through to get her butter and the coupon didn't work either

Great place isles are a little narrow, but such a great selection makes up for that. Customer service is fantastic too!

The reason I gave this five stars is because they just remodeled the store and made it a smart and final extra. There is a huge selection of produce and meat and they expanded the booze and frozen section as well as keeping all the good household items smart and final has always had.

Very clean store. Everything is easy to find. Staff seem friendly.

Smart and final extra is pretty nice. Clean, it's got basically a little of everything type of thing. You probably can't find "anything you want" like Walmart or something, but what they do have has quality. I shop here once a week and am satisfied with what they sell here at this location. If you need to do some lite shopping, come here and pick up what you need. 👍

I had not been to this particular Smart & Final in a while. They remodeled the store and it's lovely. Seems so much more organized and spacious. Everything is new looking and it is nice and clean. I also noticed a variety of organic, gluten free, and healthier items i'd expect to see in Sprouts or Whole Foods.

One of the few places nearby Best Days open reasonably late, fair prices and good selection especially when compared to nearby options, which are not many

On Monday I went to Smart & Final Extra to do some grocery shopping. I love I always can get everything I need and more. The prices are good. And the produce is always fresh. The people who work there are always friendly. And I always can get a great price on meats too. A one stop shop.

Smart & Final has some great deals on things. Easy check out experience with an automated screen that tells you what checker lane to go to. I like it.

The automated line is gone, so it's a free-for-all now and it sucks.
I have discovered the food prep section and enjoy the restaurant quality food grade buckets and stainless trays.

The prices at Smart & Final are pretty good compared to other nearby stores and you don't need a discount card. The wait in line is usually quick and they'll open another register if the line gets more than a few people. The store is updated, items are easy to find, and the employees are friendly.

Prices and product sizes are above average. The selection may feel lacking, but you have to remember that this is not an ordinary grocery store. The ads for the week go live on Wednesday, so that is usually the best time to stop in.

Every time Ive been in there, the floor has been impeccably clean and shelves have been incredibly neat. The folks staffing this location can present themselves as derpy on occasion, but they will provide great service and they all know the store like the back of their hand.

The operating hours are great (they open at 6AM!) and they have yet to do me any wrong. I honestly cant think of anything negative to say about this place.

Being in customer service for over 30 years, and management, this Smart & Final has the BEST customer service. As my daughter and I walked thru the store, EVERY employee that we came in contact with, even in passing, smiled and said hello! I will continue going to this Smart and Final location. Their employee Abraham was kind, caring and very present. He suggested bags, my daughter and I said no. We ended up needing bags! He's the expert not us....keep up the great work Store 355!!!

Thank you to Will and Eva who helped with our big food order for our school carnival. There was one item that we had the wrong count on and they found what we needed that same day. Our event was great and a little less stressful with their amazing help!! Thanks again.

Good spot. Felt a little smaller than the other s&f stores but all good. If u go all the way to the far right you'll see the squeezed 3 or 4 isles in that corner area. But a good. Good staff.. I appreciate this store 🙏

Love the new expanded Smart and Finals. The produce is fresh an there is a much better selection of everyday items while still having the bulk and restaurant items that Smart and Final in known for. Their meat is also excellent quality for the price.

This Sunday wasn't busy. Better for me!

Never ONCE had a bad experience there. Even once or twice in the past when I fell asleep on the couch after dinner, then rushed over there at 9:45pm to grab some Must-Haves, and made it to the cashier with my items RIGHT at 10:00pm closing, (once at 10:05!) ...the cashiers were STILL just very VERY friendly, smiling, and asking how my day was. And it was truly sincere behavior! (I wouldn't suggest putting the cashiers through my b.s., of course...we were all college kids once with a job that we we're SO ready to clock-out from! Right?)
ANOTHER thing that has always amazed me is how you can ask a BUSY cashier where the most obscure products are located and they will say, for example, "Aisle 14" without hesitation.
What REALLY made my jaw drop was the week that they finished the much-welcomed expansion into the building's adjacent unit, and COMPLETELY rearranged every single product's location...the cashiers STILL knew exactly where every item could be found. (And I asked them a LOT during that week, too!)
Further:
The place is always SPOTLESS, and the shelves stocked fully.
Great parking, too! Always something up close, of course I do always go later in the evening. Heading over there now, at 8:50pm. (And they close at 10PM, so it's not what you're thinking! haha)

Elliot was so helpful! The chip on my debit card has been acting up and most times- depending on the merchant's card reader, I am given the option to swipe after the third try inserting the chip. However, at the north park Smart & Final, it never gives me the option so I have to always bring cash, another card, or my checkbook. But when I visited this location, I forgot my wallet and only had the troublesome debit card. Elliot showed me that there is an option to manually input my card details and the machine accepts payment that way! Wow! Other locations never bothered to show me and now I know how to do it. Thanks, Elliot! Made my day!

Well stocked and great customer service!! The store was clean and staff called on each other when they saw a line forming. Great team work! Heidi was exceptional!!

Fast, easy, opens early. Usually always a good experience, you see new faces but always nice. Produce here is not the best quality, but everything else is good fair prices for bulk.
