I typically come here for their meats, produce, and wide variety spices selection. I love their fresh corn tortillas.

I was renewing my bus pass and looked around and eyed the fresh cakes. It was my roommates b-day so I got a nice 8 inch vanilla yellow with strawberry center, frosted with whipped cream and a nice diamond chocolate grid and drizzle.

A friend of mine gave me a slice of their tres leches cake made here. I’m Mexican so I know what a tres leches should look and taste like, I have to say this is one of the best tres leches cake I’ve ever had aside from the one I make at home. Please try it! You won’t be disappointed 👍❤

I shop here every week. The store is always clean, well stocked and well staffed. Once I accidentally missed an item while bagging. The cashier remembered my mistake the next day and promptly gave it to me - that's real service that I respect!

I was short on cash and this nice lady behind me midget Mexican lady handed me 3 dollars that I didn't have!

I love this place! It has good produce at very inexpensive prices, and a great butcher shop. But the best, is their selection of authentic Mexican products-- everything from hibiscus leaves, to fresh salsas, sweet bread and warm tortillas.

This place is great. I'm new to City Heights from a small town in New Hampshire, and this place feels like home. All types of people shop here, but it's primarily a Mexican food store. It has lots of staple supplies, veggies, and the greatest darned chorizo I've ever had. The checkout staff is so nice, and the giant security guard at the front has a heart of gold. Even though everyone here is bilingual, I've even learned a little Spanish so I can impress these people. They learned English, so I should learn Spanish! The Mexican pastries and snacks are a little weird, but I love trying new things. This is a great neighborhood store, and I'm lucky to live right next door :)

Great prices and friendly staff! No organic fruits or vegetables, however, large selection of items that are not needing to be organic for you to have great health. Fresh baked breads (pan) and tortillas. Huge selection of butcher shop meats.

Very pleased with the selection of Tadin teas. Hibiscus, Damiana, Verbena, Passionflower and more.

I go there every month to pay my San Diego Metro Transit System monthly pass. Although the cashier's office was closed when I got there, the attendant returned promptly at the time that the clock said she'd be back precisely 5:35 p.m., so it was well worth my while to complete the task and wait for 15 minutes.

In the time that I have been to that store, they have always treated me very well. I love it. I have been buying it there for 17 years and I like it a lot as they treat me. I adore that store💁♀💕💕💕

I really really love the kichen food is so awesome is like you have come home and there is the homemade fresh and hot ready ,the carnitas are best i give 10* for those delicious carnitas .great customer service at the kichen ,3 * at the cash registers needs a better customer service as customers we want a happy cashier not an unhappy cashier .

They serve hot delicious Mexican food and sell a verity of fresh meats fruits and vegetables and other can food items. They also sell papalos, pipichas, epazote, and other hard to find mexican vegetables such as verdolagas and cactus.

The customer service is great the staff is super helpful when putting together a recipe for the first time. I always enjoy my experience

Small but essential, very nice people work here and they have a very good selection of items.

I can get oranges and avacados year round when there's no unusual circumstances. It's not a yuuuuge market and u can get in an out in a short amount of time, except between 4-6pm Mon-Fri

They seem to always have things in stock, employees are friendly, parking is a little hard to find but overall I prefer Murphy's over El super.
