It's a for sure 5 star iPhone buyer. My initial price given online was counter offered due to slight scratches I didn't notice, but I'm not in the iPhone business like they are. Once I emailed them back I would accept the 2nd offer my money was on my PayPal by end of next business day. Way to go Klymen team.

I’ve been doing some business with these guys for years, I think there the best in the business for phones if you aren’t going directly through the carrier or manufacture. In the last couple of years I’ve had zero issues thank you guys for your professionalism and efficiency.

I submitted my request to sell two Galaxy S6 phones in like new almost unused condition using packaging that Klymen would provide. They sent me a prepaid yellow envelope that was WAY too small to accommodate two phones. However the shipping label was already on the envelope and was there was no way to use my own packaging since the order info was on the shipping label. I managed to stuff both phones in and mailed them off. After a week of waiting I get an email notification saying my order was rejected with no explanation. It’s a reasonable assumption that USPS crushed the phones due to horrible prepaid packaging. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Since I completed the transaction as a guest there is no way I can login to get more info. Total waste of two good phones.
EDIT AFTER OWNER RESPONSE: I only received one email, stating the status was rejected, and I needed to login for more info. I had done the transaction as a guest without creating an account. I replied to their email as directed with no response. I received both phones back in good condition. I’m raising my rating to two stars. I would give them more but their level of snark and sarcasm in review responses combined with lack of communication is not acceptable.

Bad customer support.
1) Telling me my phone is damaged/scratched when it definitely isn’t.
2) EXTREMELY POOR customer communication after phone was sent in.
You could have maybe shown evidence or proof of said damage, maybe called and discussed it. But instead you just automatically send it back without discussion.
Take your business elsewhere.

In response to this guy’s reply: did you even read the original review? I said you didn’t provide any details or discuss anything. Send a picture and have a discussion with your customers if you’re telling them you’re offering them something lower and maybe they’ll be more inclined to accept because of the proof/details/scuff in question. All I told you “that there’s been a screen protector since day 1.” That has been my experience with all my phones. Instead of telling me and showing me ‘here’s what we’re talking about’ all I get is “iPhone has been sent back to you.” So my assumption is: 1)I don’t know what you’re talking about because that shouldn’t be the case, 2) the lack of discussion/proof/communication between you and your customers is something that you do often and is further reinforced by other reviewers on google. 3) You apparently have little interest in doing business because I’m sure that that phone would be revenue if you were to sell it, so instead of trying to keep the sale, you immediately send it back without hesitation(and again no discussion). 4)You’ve replied faster on here than you did your email so that also shows where your priorities are.
Conduct quality and professional business first, then receive feedback afterwards. You’ve had several customers (according to google) telling you that you need to improve your communication. I’ll give you an extra star for the speed you’ve replied here. But you need to understand, with the online nature of your sales, you have very little communication with your customers (as is the nature of the sale) as well as having your customers place an extremely high amount of trust in you and your business that they won’t get shorted, or check won’t get lost or something will go wrong, therefore every single interaction from start to finish matters. I’ve had three interactions with you, one telling me that you want to give me less money(upsetting but not necessarily a dealbreaker) and after expressing concern and asking what you’re talking about, the second interaction being a ‘take your stuff back, no deal’ kind of interaction(upsetting, mildly infuriating, an inconvenience) and then the third on here, where you mention that I declined the sale(I hadn’t? However, NOW I am because now I’m annoyed at this interaction...Alex -_-)

I recently had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on this company. I have sold several phones with Klymen Electronics over the years. I sold them my phone and it became “lost” in the mail when it made it to Rochester, NY. I filed a claim with UPS and Klymen Electronics offered no support, but plenty of lies. They told me I should have purchased insurance when in fact I couldn’t because they were the “shipper” and a representative I spoke with from UPS stated they elected not to do so. I was told I could dispute the claim decision offered by UPS but Klymen Electronics would have to do so. I informed them if they and nothing. When I called and spoke with Alex I attempted to plea with him to do the right thing and compensate me for device or at least help me with the claim and he said “not my problem” I’ve done business with them for years, however customer loyalty means absolutely nothing to them as Alex told me “he didn’t care” he claimed any money UPS offered would be given to me however I spoke with UPS and they told me a check was mailed to them 3 weeks ago and of course they have been completely silent on the matter. I have emails and recorded conversations of my interactions with this company and how nasty they have been throughout this entire process. Please save yourself the headache of having to go through what I went through. I sold them a $1500 phone for $850 and ended up with absolutely nothing. I will never do business with them again.

3 weeks ago I sent an iPhone XR and a iPhone 12. When submitting on the website it told me to sign in which I did. Some how the website glitched and it submitted the first order I’ve sent in and not the phones that’s I clicked. It switched it to an iPhone XS 256gb and a iPhone 8+. I sent them both in the same box wrapped in bubble wrap perfect condition taped TOGETHER!!. I get an email countering saying they only received an XR. I ask about the iPhone 12 they claim they didn’t get an iPhone 12. They’re trying to be slick. I have the imei I even sent it to them to check their records and they just respond back all they got was the XR. I got annoyed and said just send me a check for the XR. Two weeks with no response. They stole both my phones and will not answer their phones or respond to my emails.

Update, called in and spoke with their staff and got PayPal payment. Not ideal because PayPal took a portion of the funds that were sent, hence the reason I selected a check. Totally painful experience all the way around. I did get payment, however it was several weeks later, and not the greatest experience. I would not recommend Klymen based on my experience.

Been almost a month since I sent in iPhone. Said a check was sent two weeks ago. Reported that I had not received check, they said to wait longer. Waited still no check. They then asked for my PayPal, gave that to them, and then never responded again. Now I have been trying to contact them 3times and they aren’t responding. Totally frustrating because there is no way to get the money they owe me, and they aren’t responding.

Sent my phone (iphone XS 256 gb) in their prepaid shipping usps since 2 days ago. It arrived to them at 11:04 am yesterday on 11/09/2020. I didn’t get any type of notification or call. So I was like cool they probably will call me before the end of the day. NOPE! I had to call them on another number thats not even on their website the next day. I spoke with Alex. I told him my about my phone and he said it didn’t arrive it takes more than two days. I said you guys got it yesterday at 11:04 am. I tracked it. He then goes and gets my phone for the first time and opens the packaging and says your phone has shadows we can make you a counter offer. My phone has never had shadows I took plenty pictures of it and the imei and serial number on my iphone 12 pro before I shipped it off. I said what? He says I’ll take pictures and email you shortly. I said okay. Called back two hours later to let him know I didn’t get any type of email with an counter offer. He then says got a lot of orders okay and hangs up. No I give you a call at ? no nothing. But the klymen website states “fast same day service once phone arrives.” This is VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and A HORRIBLE COMPANY. I DEFINITELY DON’T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THEM JUST TAKE WHAT APPLE OFFERS FOR YOUR OLD iPHONE. I’m about to call them as soon as I end this review and tell them to send my phone back in the same condition I sent it to them. OR I will be going to court because I gave all of my before pictures. DONT USE THIS COMPANY THEIR HORRIBLE.

Sold me an open box condition item, claimed it was A+ condition but it ended up having a crack. Said that I can return it for a full refund and insurance would cover it as it must have happened during shipping. When I sent back the item, they stated I was the one who cracked it and only gave me a partial refund. This business does what they can to squeeze out profits and as much money out of you with bait and switch tactics.

Horrible customer support. They don’t negotiate, I sold them my Iphone and I still haven’t received my check on the mail even though we agreed to do the transaction through PayPal. They barely answer emails and when they do it’s in a very rude way.
