Michael at the CVS pharmacy in Pacific Palisades is terrific, so helpful, thoughtful , and patient.

Very nice staff, clean and has everything! It's a very busy pharmacy, and they work super hard, but sometimes there is a decent wait. It's unfair to fault the staff for that.

Really good place for finding cosmetics,drugs and also other bunch of stuff.The atmosphere was really peaceful and beside that the satff were patient.

I've had difficult experiences at this CVS over the years.Not helpful employees and no one near or available to assist. However, my experience changed for the better with the pharmacist - I had STOPPED using CVS and was driving far to avoid CVS pharmacy. THE PERSON WHO CHANGED MY ATTITUDE AND EXPERIENCE, WHO HAS ME COMING BACK is the Pharmacist named MIKE! He has a smile, is ALWAYS there, is ALWAYS helpful and goes above and beyond. If he were my employee, I would promote him (but please leave him there doing his good work!), use him as an example for all employees and have him recognized and given huge bonuses! I've told 5 friends (incl. my husband) to use CVS for Pharmacy needs now and ask for Mike. He is like the neighborhood neighbor everyone needs and wants at a pharmacy! I asked him if I could write to corp. about him and he hesitated, but allowed me the survey info. I'm grateful! Mike (larger than life, black, and huge wonderful heart and smile!), thank you for your service and work!!!

Convenience store location. Parking can be type but generally available. I don't like the pharmacy much because there's always too much waiting and occasional error

Bought a box of Sudafed from the pharmacy for $15.61. Didn't notice until after I opened the box that it expires in 8 months. It's not like the expiration date is obvious - it's barely even legible, etched into the side of the box. I needed my glasses to even find it.
When I called to ask for an exchange I was told that wasn't possible since I opened the box - not any of the plastic bubbles, just the cardboard box. I was also told that the boxes remaining on the shelf (behind the counter) were dated 2019 & 2022. I had assumed that for $15 I would be covered for at least 2 years, but had the pharmacy assistant grabbed a different box I would have had 5 years. Instead I'm stuck with having to shell out another $15 in 8 months for a drug to sit in my travel bag, and possibly never get touched in the next 8 months (BTW; I would need to take 6 pills every month to consume the 48 pills in the box) and they were absolutely okay with that. It's true that they were not expired, so they could be sold, but selling a box of 48 for as-needed circumstances, only to have to repurchase in 8 months is, I believe, underhanded.
The takeaway; check expiration dates AT THE COUNTER even when the CVS pharmacist hands you something over the counter... not that I'll be back.

One of the pharmacists is incredibly rude and condescending. I recently faced her full effect and was reminded that I had meant to leave a review from a previous series of encounters.

My wife suffered from some pregnancy complications that progressively got worse. She was a frequent customer and had multiple encounters with this individual. She chose to BERATE a pregnant woman to tears on multiple occasions. I can’t imagine that we are the only people to have experiences like this but this woman needs an intervention of some kind.

If I could give this pharmacy a zero I would. Thank goodness for a couple of good pharmacists...and I mean a couple. This group violated my patient confidenialty and borderline harrassed me. You always have to wait and respect for long time customers is at the bottom of their list. I get a lot of scripts. In LaJolla they were great...superstars compared to this team. I called the store manager to complain and she gave me a 1800 number

Consistently the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. Always try and avoid unless you like to wait.
