Tommy as always thank you so much! I’ll be so sad when we walk in and don’t see you there. Coming from Fairbanks we always make sure we stop in. This time we bought 4 rods and a reel, as well as other supplies. The staff is always knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help you out.

We'd been to Bass Pro, Cabellas, other stores for a certain item with no luck. We heard an ad on KWHL and went to check out B&J and WOW! Found exactly what we needed for a very good price, thanks to an excellent manager, neat guy. Thanks a bunch. We'll be back for more fishing gear some day!

I showed up needing rods and reels for a dream trip, very near closing time and Tom and Troy took excellent care of me. They even put line on my reels and talked me through all the options without hurrying me. It’s so hard to find exceptional customer service these days and if you want the best all around, head to B&Js!

This place has everything you need to fish or be in Alaska, any season, and they are really helpful and knowledgeable.

Service professionals with the knowledge to impress. Fishing item prices are fantastic and extremely competitive. BEST place for fishing items. Ask questions when you're there, you wont be disappointed. Prices are always lower than box stores. Never been let down shopping here. Bought a well priced fly rod and was instructed how to use it and how to set it up, and as a rookie fly fisherman I was completely hooked.

Great store! If there is a more comprehensive fishing store for every aspect of the industry, I'd like to see it.

B&J has gone out of its way to provide excellent customer service every time I have been in. All of the employees that I have interacted with were kind, funny, and (most importantly) knowledgable. This is and will remain my go-to store for fishing gear. (Note: I do not often write reviews, but I was so impressed that I am going out of my way to post this.)

Great quality work wear with a surprisingly good selection for smaller sized individuals. Prices are generally reasonable with great bargains to be found, too. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Anyone who spends time outdoors should take a look.

This store is large and stocks every bit of sporting goods necessary for the outdoors. They build their own materials in-store and can assure successful tools for the outdoors.

Lots of good fishing tackle and clothing here, and good advice from the sales people. Definitely patronize this place rather than Sportsman's or Cabela's. If B&J doesn't have what you want and can't get it, then it's okay to go to the big box joints, but let's look to our locally owned outfits first.
