A1 Indian Grocery

I just moved to Sparks, was looking for indian grocery store. A1 indian grocery store is very close to me.

They have really good collections of items that you need for cooking and eating.

Owner are so friendly, very humble and cooperative. I had really nice experience. I will definitely visit again.

Nicest owner I’ve ever met! She helped me find what I needed and made some recommendations that helped this dumb American make something that tasted amazing. I couldn’t have done it without her recommendation!

Depending upon when you walk into A1 Indian Grocery you will witness all three of the mentioned values at work. Family-owned and operated for nearly 30 years, a feat not many small businesses can claim (especially post COVID), this is where you can get a small taste of a portion of traditional Indian spices, ceremonial offerings and vessels, beauty products, fresh vegetables, and a host of other hidden treasures. If you're lucky you might even get a free recipe or two from the owner 😉!

Thanks to A1 Indian Grocery, I don't have to go all over town to gather authentic ingredients for my favorite Indian inspired dishes (or order online) any longer 🙏🏾

I went there about two weeks ago, the owners were very helpful, when I walked I. The store one of them was busy restocking the merchandise and I was asking for items and she stopped what she was doing and walked me showing me where everything was, also she advised me when and time the new merchandise arrives, everything was fresh and neatly organized. My twin sons loved that we found a place where they had everything we needed and the fact that They made us feel welcome since first time we stepped in their store, I know I made the right decision to come there.

Best store to buy all the spices, vegetables and other groceries. You can get all those red chili powder, chicken tikka masala and others. There was a very few occasions when there was an item missing and on those occasions I was told that it’d be available next week. And I was able to get it in my next visit. That’s not true though in case of fresh vegetables - if you want it fresh then you’ll need to check with the owner when’s their next fresh batch is coming. On top of fair prices, the owners are polite and cooperative. If you have any special request then talk to them and they can arrange it for your from bay area.

Been here couple of times. They have almost every thing you get in India including parle g biscuits all the way to Danta Kanti Ayurvedic toothpaste.
A lot of ready to eat Indian items. My favorites are paneer paratha, methi paratha (thepla), dal chawal bowl, kadhi chawal bowl, murukku, Haldiram products like aloo bhujia, bhel

They also have kulfi, barfi, sweets, limca and other Indian products.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Very good Place to Purchased indian grocery

To be honest I read the reviews before I went in the store. It said that the people were rude and product was over priced. I went any way and glad I did the women be hind the counter was so nice. I asked for help from a gentalmen that didn't work there and he even tried to help me.. The women be hind the counter shared recipes with me on how to make Indian food. I will be back to buy more chapati flour to make more bread.. Great prices!!
