Kroger

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I asked for and received help on several items I was looking for from staff that were doing click list gathering. Even though it was not there job to help! This store has, or can get, most items you look for from a Kroger supermarket. The staff will also help you save money by pointing out items that may be on sale! The location is a great convenience and easy to get in and out of. I greatly recommend the Big K ( Kroger brand soft drinks). They are way better than most off brand soda!
I also recommend the Kroger brand foods are excellent and inexpensive.
The bakery is filled with a variety of treats and breads that are high quality and delicious.
The seafood section is second to none in the local area. They have a variety of fresh seafood, including salmon!
The meat section has a wide variety and a very helpful staff.
I highly recommend this location. It has everything a Kroger should have and the staff is very helpful. Needless to say, it is busy during the late afternoon!

This is the best place in town to shop everything that you would need. All their products are easily accessible and they are neatly arranged. The store's well maintained too. There's a Starbucks inside the store. It was easy to find what I was looking for. They also have a lot of vegan options available. Self checkout process was quick and easy. They are open 24 hours which makes it even more convenient for customers to shop according to their needs.

Kroger has some of the best baggers around. They are friendly and don't just throw your groceries in the bag. It's one of the reasons we shop there.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Love there app, type in what you're looking for and it tells exactly which aisle and shelf it's on. Most helpful as it is a large store. Prices were good, selection was great.

For sure the nicest Kroger around here the one on first Street we call it the crackhead Kroger the one on 5th Avenue that’s a step up it’s a little better and then the one in Barboursville is called the Gucci Kroger. It’s for sure the nicest one around Huntington.

This is a very good place to go shopping for food

Today was a first for me at Kroger in Barboursville WV. I was looking for vegetable oil and was shocked there were no small bottles, only large. A Kroger employee (Connie) saw me and asked if she could help. That’s the first time I ever recall someone at Kroger asking me if they can help. I generally have to find someone to ask for help. I recommend an “at-a-girl” award for this lady. She even tracked me down with a bottle of vegetable oil that she said was the smallest in the store. I said thank you I appreciate your efforts but that is still too big. She appears to be a great employee by trying to sell me a bottle rather than let me leave the store to buy it elsewhere! Thanks again Connieyou made my day!

Thank you to Valerie and Denise and the rest of the staff in the Bakery and Deli. Valerie was instrumental in the success of our annual company Christmas party. Her guidance, suggestions, and knowledge were a tremendous help in picking the menu and the ordering process. Everything went smoothly thanks to their help.

Valerie the deli mgr went above and beyond in helping us with our selection of Oliverio sauce and pepper selection. Super friendly and wished that she worked in my Kroger in Michigan. She definitely is an asset to the company! Thank you for hiring such great staff.

This is a GREAT store! Best Kroger in area. Its our Guchi Kroger☺❤ love shopping there. Clean, fresh meat and fruits/veggies. Huge selection of food I cant find elsewhere. Staff in store and pharmacy are always so nice, helpful and they go out of their way to help shoppers. Love their great selection of fresh flowers all year long too. Deli and bakery excellent too. Thanks to all their employees for making shopping there a pleasure, not a dreaded chore.

The gentleman working the pharmacy on Sunday, Sept 4, was amazing! Super helpful and kept everything moving at a quick pace. Wish I had gotten his name to give an accurate shoutout!

The Best Kroger around! It has a wide variety of food etc. I love the Starbucks there. The Deli and Bakery is awesome. The produce section is great. It just an awesome place!! My favorite place to shop!

Very nice place to to shop and work

I love the Kroger in Barboursville. It is always so clean and neat. It is almost always stocked with fresh and ripe fruits and vegetables. You can usually find anything that you could possibly need or want in there. And besides the prices always being great to start with, they have great online coupons and if your a member they will mail you special coupons just for you. Can ya tell what my favorite store is??? 😆

This is by far the nicest Kroger in the greater Huntington WV area. The store is very large and the product selection is very broad. You'll find products here you can't find at the other regional Kroger grocery stores. Huntington residents have nicknamed this location the "Gucci Kroger" because of the extensive selection and the inclusion of several premium products not found in the smaller stores.

I’m in the process of moving, and I’ve stopped and gotten boxes from the Produce Department several times this week. One particular male employee has been extremely nice and helpful to me. Thanks so very much. 😊😇

Great selection of produce and lots of organic items. Really good sales and added bonus of cheaper gas with their Fuel Bucks program. Plus no more clipping coupons, you can put digital coupons on your Kroger card.

Such a great selection at this Kroger. We always do our large grocery shopping here. The staff are friendly and polite, its usually pretty busy so if you don't like crowds come late at night.

This has always been my favorite Kroger. It has always been the nicest one in the area. I used to live in the St. James downtown and would clear to Barboursville to go here. This was many years before they even remodeled and added a Starbucks and online grocery ordering. The only thing I don't like is they don't have a hot salad bar. They took that away several years ago. The store is very modern, we'll maintained and the staff always friendly. Plus they are open 24/7. Great Kroger.

David in the deli gave the upmost best customer service. He is very knowledgeable of all the products they carry in the (cold) deli and takes the time to explain them to you. I will continue to shop here because of him.
