Hampton Inn Huntington/Barboursville

I had a double Queen room. I was able to use the app to select the rooms and locations. I choose far from the elevator to avoid the noise. The hotel was modern and updated. The lobby area was nice and check in was very easy. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. The only issue was the lack of water pressure in the shower, but nothing that major. The room has decent wifi and the TV was satellite so I lot of channels to watch. We did not have the breakfast since there was a Cracker Barrell next door.

We actually live in Barboursville, & my 84 yr old grandmother needed to stay in a hotel while her home bathroom was being remodeled. She ended up staying a total of 9 nights, so she really got to know some of the staff, especially the housekeepers. They went above & beyond to make sure she had everything she needed, & even brought her little goodies each day. The lady in the breakfast area fixed her up a little goodie bag of snacks to take back to her room each day. Jenny at the front desk came to the rescue when we needed to add an extra night & made sure she didn’t have to move to a different room just for the one night. Everything was kept clean & in good working order. We always have good experiences with the Hampton Inn franchise, but this place was exceptional, especially in terms of customer service!

The air conditioner worked almost too good.
The shower was amazing, with the perfect hot water and the water pressure was strong and felt incredible on my aching muscles after a long day.
The best part of all was the people. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I didn't need a thing, but if I did they would have been there for me I am sure.
In a nutshell, my stay was perfect! I didn't want to leave. Thank you Hampton Inn!

Came here to stay the night around Decemember 29th through the 30th check in was quick and easy the room was amazing clean everything worked and the bed was really comfy if your coming here to stay a night or 2 for Billy Bob's wonderland or even Billycon i recommend it alot other then that staff was really friendly and helpful will definetly come back again

Took a mini vacay stopped in WV and had tremendous time friendly staff clean room good breakfast. Great visit 😁 will go again.

Everything about this hotel is awesome because of the location, the cleanliness, quietness, and the friendly staff as well is why I stay at this hotel every time I have to stay in town for work.

Great place, we always stay here when visiting family!! Convenient to the interstate, lots around it! Nice room, comfortable bed! Great breakfast! Friendly staff! No complaints whatsoever!!!

We had a great experience, at this location! Our home was damaged and we stayed here for a period of time, awaiting the home repairs. The breakfast is amazing! Western omelets, bacon, sausage links, sausage patties, etc. Typically, it's the same food, everyday, however, they had a different style of eggs and meat, each day. The hostess, Brenda, is a doll! So sweet and always smiling. The front desk went out of their way to find us a room, elsewhere, when they had no vacancy. We quickly returned and we happy to do so! Definitely A+ ,5 Stars!

First of all: This hotel DOES NOT usually accept pets despite what Google says. That being said, the front desk staff was extremely understanding of our situation and allowed us to stay. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast was better than a lot of other hotel breakfasts we've had, and the bed was comfy. This was the perfect place for our stop on the way to Illinois.

Virtual key check-in was wonderful. Lobby was decorated beautifully. Easy access to elevators. Coffee available 24/7. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Will stay here again. Front desk was very helpful in helping us find a restaurant.

My stay was amazing. Top notch from the outstanding customer service to the cleanliness, highly recommend!! I was there for an entire week and will definitely be coming back when I return on future business trips. Rick, Dedra,and Breanna at the front desk are so welcoming and friendly. Each recommended different restaurants which I enjoyed while I was there. Brenda in the breakfast area made a wonderful hot breakfast so much better then I have been accustomed to at other hotels lately. She was super friendly and had the dining area spotless clean and the coffee was fresh. Cheryl and Erica in Housekeeping kept my room spotless clean and helped me multiple times with various things throughout my stay. Both Ladies are so friendly willing to go above and beyond to help a guest with anything they might need!! Hands down this was one of the best customer experiences I have ever had!! Thanks!!

Shower was really great. Plenty of hot water. And had great water pressure.

I was on my way home from a trip and simply could not complete it. I stayed at this Hampton Inn to rest. It was an excellent choice! Everything was super clean and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There was a chaise lounge in my room that was the most relaxing thing I have ever sat upon. I would recommend this location!

Typical Hampton Inn stay --- quality service and cheerful, courteous staff.
Had king room. Clean, comfortable bed, hot showers, cold A/C, and good water pressure-- my 5 must haves.
Easily access to interstate, but quiet.
Next door to cracker barrel.
This is why I choose Hampton Inns, they do not disappoint.

We stayed in September of 2021 and knew that we wanted to stay again while in the area! We did in May 2022 and were not disappointed! The rooms and common areas are CLEAN! The employees were professional and friendly. No complaints! If in the area, this is the place to stay!

We have stayed here before and will stay here again. Very good customer service. I asked for an extra blanket and had it handed to me right away by the front desk clerk. The room was great, clean, comfortable. The free breakfast was very good. We like this hotel and I have always had good service with Hampton Inns.

Stay at this Hotel very clean,quiet and relaxing. This is the nicest hotel we have stayed at while traveling back and forth from Alabama.My husband and I would give this a 10 star, maids who clean the rooms don't miss much . Thank You!
