Always a variety of vegan foods available—alternative milk, butter, meat, cheese, etc, plus whole food staples like tofu, seeds, but butters… Today, I bought this coconut based yogurt and it tasted just like plain yogurt. Plus it was on sale!

I went there looking for specific things but had no idea of where they were and what exactly I was getting. A kind clerk helped me find the Liquid coconut oil but they were out if Arnica oil so put me on the list to contact when they order next. Very friendly people and customer service oriented. Thank you

Loved the Brioche Bread and vegan gluten free bread.

Sawall has the best scented and cleanest bathroom in the whole of Kalamazoo…

Mistakes and errors happen, that's life. But how one handles it, shows a lot! The owner went above and beyond to correct an issue I had, with no question. The service was truly out of this world and will be supporting this business routinely. They gained a loyal customer today!

They have some of the best vegan options in town. So many meats and cheeses as well as vegan icecream! Their tea selection is also great.

Nice variety of things to buy, healthy options. Also, contains Amarino for delicious gelato. - highly recommend

Love the deli. So many choices and allot of vegetarian options. Great customer service. Variety of grocery, fresh , bulk and freezer items. Items for health too. A Kalamazoo grown store. And it is worth going to.

Nice atmosphere, things on sale, folks always offering assistance..Did you know they have a really fun restaurant upstairs?

Don't tell anyone though, this should be kept secret- you'll understand why when you visit-
Don't ruin the atmosphere by inviting the wrong people..only fun, talkative, and proper folks should be told!

The staff at Sawall's are so helpful, this will be my go to stop for supplements now, such a wide selection with knowledge, friendly, helpful staff.

Always a good selection of products that are hard to find at other places. It is so nice to be able to go here knowing that there are TONS of gluten free items that I cannot find anywhere else. Prices are a little more than big box stores but it is worth going there to avoid crowds and leave with items you need.

Clean very clean & safe too. Very Friendly & always helpful. Found all my vegan needs & sweet dark cherries OMG Very GOOD! 😲 happy birthday to special grandson they always have what he can eat!! Thank you & God Bless Linda for years of service!!

I've been here a few times and usually can find a handful of great deals for my gluten free diet. I couldn't imagine being able to come here to get all of my grocery shopping done for that would be quite pricey, but certainly I can visit to load up on snacks, local baked goods, and unique brands I haven't tried before when they are on sale.

Had not visited Sawall Health Foods in years and didn't realize they had a deli. Wow! Best food I've tasted in quite a while! And the customer service was beyond compare! I needed help finding turmeric and not only one, but two employees helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to return. 😊

Sawall's is clean, the staff is friendly, they make a point to carry many local brands, and they have good fresh produce. They do a quality job of balancing food allergy type stuff, health food/veg stuff, and ethically sourced/natural stuff (overlapping, and no easy task I'm sure). There is a pretty wide variety on everything from raw ingredients to fully made and individually portioned desserts, as well as house plants, household cleaners, cosmetics, and more. If you want any of the above, Sawall's should probably be a staple grocery stop for you as it is for me. I have a lot of food intolerances and specific preferences, and although I can't find everything I want here, it is definitely the best solution anywhere near Kalamazoo.

My family and I absolutely LOVE this place! Tons of healthy options, and they are sure to have what you are looking for. The fresh flower bouquets alone are worth the visit. Highly recommended. Best market in town!

I come here for some select items. The woman at the checkout is always so sweet. Try the Brinery Sea Stag sauerkraut, the homemade tortillas, hope curry hummus, and last but not at all least, the Saffron to go meals.

Everyone is always very helpful in helping me make selections.

I adore this store and they have been around for over 80 years. It's nice to see something last that long in the age of rapid, sometimes for-the-worse change. It's a bit pricey, but they offer student and have given me veteran discounts when asked. Unsurpassed selection of supplements and vitamins, great produce, unique and high end foods, and amazing array of spices. Haven't tried it yet, but hear the cafe upstairs is also worth checking out.
