Love the bakery department! I come in every morning to get fresh bagels and bread before the staff gets a chance to put it out and they always take care of me! Very friendly! Best sour dough bread in Reno!

The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of Ruben, the manager. The other staff I came in contact were very rude, unfriendly and dismissive (especially one particular lady)... I had an incident in the store and Ruben went above and beyond to make it right. I will give this store my business again solely because of him.

Our big, new, glossy neighborhood Safeway - impressive. Besides the sheer size of the store, the extensive selection of everything you'd need and some amazingly low prices throughout - it's the small things which impress. Continued scratch off coupons at the register, a really terrific /well stocked deli, courteous employees who actually smile - as well as the aisle markers named by the major streets in Damonte Ranch - nice touch. Smart planning went into this store, it shows.

This recently opened supermarket located in southern Reno, is very clean, extremely well stocked and is generously well staffed by a group of extraordinarily courteous as well as helpful employees. This store is 15 miles from my home, but I will gleefully be back!

My go to store. Have to watch as MIS does not always have everything in for specials and price changes. Store is clean and well organized, a relaxing shop. Very clean. Good displays for holidays.

So far this has been the nicest cleanest up to date we have been to.

Of course the prices aren't always as cheap as Walmart but they are right down the street.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of this new store. It's huge, with tons of selections and laid out thoughtfully. The produce was all beautifuly displayed, the deli also. The prices were comparative to shopping at similar grocery stores. Our check out was quick and easy. There is plenty of parking available as well.

Nice, clean, new store with a large parking lot. They have a wide variety of products to choose from. Clerks are nice. Covid booster shots are available and done by a great gal who made it a good experience, and I hate shots and needles. She was awesome. 😊

I've always loved Safeway coming from San Jose with one on every corner, but hadn't made it my standard again until we got this opened in S Reno close to home, always great deals with the card, fresh produce, meats, Starbucks inside. They really make it difficult for me to just grab what I need and go, a grocery store of all places. If you're short on time put your blinders on and stick to your shopping list 🤣

I really like this store. Customer service is on top of it, plus the store is always clean and the shelves stocked. I would go out of my way to use this location over others.

Great store always clean every veggie nd fruit organized, always able to find a employee for help.

Thank you JR for such great customer service. I had a issue that happened in one of the stores in Reno. He called me right away to apologize. He also offered me a $50 gift card. . Customer service is so hard to find today. I went to store to meet him and Shannon who manages the front and I had talked to she too had such a great attitude I will be going to this Safeway to shop. It’s a little out of my way but they have made it worth it to go there

Very clean and well stocked. For people who have insomnia or other health conditions causing early awakening, it's nice to have a 24 hour store to shop at early in the morning when most grocery stores are closed. let's hope that they will continue this good service as the store ages.

Beautiful new store (and I mean beautiful) in a much needed location. I have never been so excited about a Safeway in my life. Opening day seems flawless and organized. Welcome to the neighborhood, we are SO glad to have you!

I've only really patronized the Pharmacy. They are very very helpful and very nice. I only went there for the $50 and $25 gift cards. But because they earned my business l use them a lot. I even got my Covid-19 Booster there. Excellent, Pharmist was on her J.O.B. she kept calling my insurance to get them to OK my Perscription. I was amazed she was so diligent. Yes, that earned my business.

Clean store. Highly stocked. So many options. I can find stuff here I can't at other grocery stores. Produce department was fantastic. All staff was kind, helpful and courteous. Definitely my favorite store to go grocery shopping also has a Starbucks inside

Actually we have lived in Reno since 2006 on this ebmbd of town and Smiths has always been our go to. Safeway has won us over with the large and open fresh area inclusing bakery, deli, sandwich shop, and Starbucks. Fresh soups, baked goods, etc. Easy in and out and the Flower shop is LARGE!
