Ben's Fine Wine & Spirits

I loved the ability to talk to someone who was educated on the bourbon I wanted to know about. I was truly surprised that they were able to educate me on spirits. If you want to someone who will give you an honest opinion, Ben's is we're you need to go. This is the only place I will go to Reno to get an honest answer to what is a good drink!

Stopped in for some whiskey today. Was referred to NV36. Some of the best whiskey I've had. Very comparable to Woodford and makers mark. I think I like it more than makers. 10/10 would recommend.

12/29/22 around 6pm:
Stopped in to buy a couple of bottles of wine for gifting.
Had no clue, so told the woman working what I wanted & what my budget was.
She was very helpful & pleasant. Showed me choices in my price range, pointing out some that were more expensive but ON SALE! We picked 2, and then one more for me. 🤷🏼‍♀
The gifts were a hit & I really like the 2020 Conundrum red blend she recommended.🍷
I didn't catch her name but she was great & I'm grateful.

Great local liquor/spirits store. Very helpful staff and they're usually fully stocked with most of the popular brands. You can special order most anything they don't have on hand. Prices are a little more expensive than some of their competitors but it's worth it to not have to fight the crowds.

I have friends in Reno, but don't visit often. However, over the last decade or so, this has been the go to place to find that amazing spirit for a gift or something rare that you can't find at the grocery store. Visiting recently, I was delighted to see that the the selection and staff were just as delightful as always! (be careful of the fun bar inside... You might taste something you love and have to buy more! )

Customer service was amazing. We wanted a keg for an upcoming birthday party. We called two weeks in advance to get pricing, and I spoke with Kris on the phone. She was more than helpful with information, pricing, and how everything worked. She even called to double check on our reservation, and make sure we had everything we needed. Upon pickup today, she and her coworker made everything as easy as could be for my husband and me. The coworker even helped us load into the car and helped us tap the keg! Couldn't be more happy about our purchase.

I like Ben's. They have a large variety of different types of liquor and wine to choose from, and they have it organized pretty good.
I've decided that I want to try every type of whiskey I can, and the perfect place to start, is Ben's fine wine and spirits.
Their whiskey selection is phenomenal! I literally spent an hour in the store trying to narrow down my choice because they had so much to choose from.
Also, some of the whiskeys I have bought from them have been at very good prices

Got everything thing you need if you're in the market for alcohol

My favorite local booze chain. Excellent wine & beer selection. They usually have some great deal going on hard alcohol. Wine tasting bar. The best location is the one in South Reno on Virginia Street between near South Meadows Pkwy.

Buy local!!! Really love this place and the vast amount of options and selection they have on beer and other alcohol. They also support a bunch of local breweries and sell their products here to which is awesome (see photo). Really nice and friendly staff definitely plan on coming here to buy my supplies 😊

Great selection on wine, with prices often better than Whispering Vine and Total Wine. The staff are very friendly. And the Friday wine tastings are a great deal (effectively free with a purchase of anything in the store).

Friendly service. Quiet. Comfortable. Not value, but easy in and out. Decent selection for size.

Started carrying my favorite pinot grigio in the cooler when I requested it. So awesome! Now it's cold whenever I go to pick it up.
