Big 5 Sporting Goods

This is a nice store with nice people and pretty competitive pricing. I needed new sneakers, the gentleman who was there assisting was extremely helpful and informative and very diligent about helping everyone especially families with children. I hope this little company sticks around, I like it.

Big 5 is more of a specialty sporting goods store that has quality products but not as big of a selection as some other shops might have!

Good for cheap sports stuff, quality isn't the best, but the price is great. I wouldn't recommend buying baseball bats here. They break easy. But for batting gloves and belts it's the best price.

I was looking for some free weights to add to my set at home. I had been to a couple of other stores but all they had were the weights you could adjust, and I was looking for dumbbells. Enter Big 5 Sporting Goods on CO BLVD. I walked into the store and asked the gentleman behind the counter if they had any free weights and he took me right over to what they had. I had been thinking of getting some heavier weights, but the gentleman who was helping me advised a lighter weight to reduce the risk of injury. I took his advice and got the weights I needed. His advise was spot on, too, because I could maximize my work out routine, and not have to worry about injury, as the weight was manageable. The selection of sporting equipment is quite extensive, anything you need for any kind of sport to include work out clothes can be found there, the prices are quite reasonable, and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. So if you are looking for work out equipment, sporting equipment or clothes to help you get taut and toned, then Big 5 Sporting Goods on CO BLVD. Would be a place I highly recommend. Their sales staff makes the difference. Bravo Zulu, guys.

Yesterday I made it my business to take advantage of Big 5's awesome one day sale on certain items. I was greeted upon entering the store by Katherine.
The customer service she provided me with was truly remarkable and memorable. I appreciated her professional and patient and attentive demeanor with me as I ( we) shopped for the items I wanted/needed. It's always makes me feel good after I've shopped at an established business that the person or persons selling me the goods make me feel good and appreciated as a customer.
This isn't the first time I have experienced superior customer service at this store location, however my experience yesterday stood out for some reason.
During these trying times in society, it's reassuring and instills a little hope (which has been waning for awhile now) in me towards humankind to know that there are people out here still willing and truly capable of providing quality customer service. Thank You.

Went in last week to buy some tennis balls for my dog. The tennis balls were a bit disorganized and pricing was confusing but the very nice gentleman at the front counter gave me a great deal on what I needed and we could not be more grateful! Thank you so much and we will definitely be back.

Great place to shop! I get my knifes or shoes firm them .good customer service. Check it out if you haven't been to a big 5 . This location doesn't seem to be busy as much as other stores I've been to .just great deals I guess..

Always a good shopping experience. Smaller store but so easy to quickly pick up what you need . Today it was wrestling shoes . In and out in 20 mins.

Currently celebrating their 63rd year in business, love to support the local small businesses. First time here, my stepdad needed new work shoes. Recent leg surgery puts quality and comfort at a higher level of importance but budgetary limitations make it a challenge. What luck! Cathy helped us navigate the store, find his size and even held them for us while he considered the purchase. Came back and bought 2 great pair- (with coupon for $10 off $30+) for about $40 total.
Store is clean and easy to peruse. Cashier and manager also friendly and helpful. Great athletic wear and gear options and of course able to special order of needed. Go check it out!

Pleasantly surprised that the women's hiking shoes fit me. I wear wide and have high arches, so I usually have to go to men's. Great price too compared to Runners Roost.

Standing in the store making a return as we speak. Staff is attentive, professional and friendly. The store is always clean and organized. This is a great little sporting goods store. Beatrice and Dre were exceptional.

Friendly service and being first time there was a breeze. Bought 2 air mattresses for a good price and they offer a military discount too boot. Too bad they had two shoplifters hit the store a few minutes before I arrived. Typical pot smoking drug addicts in the area needing money for their habit. My place was robbed by such individuals in the past. Hence why I am moving from Colorado as it has become too liberal for my taste. ☹

Denver is becoming like Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington look at a YouTube video called "Seattle is dying" and see what I mean.

Been to this location a few times in the last month and the staff is always amazing, willing to go above and beyond for customers and the selection has been good as well, I highlyrecommend this spot if you want a good shopping experience!

Although there are many big box options and locale to choose from, Big 5 Sporting Goods makes you feel like family in there mom and pop shop. The store manager was quite nice and offered to give away sun shades at no charge. We will be paying this gift forward.

Highly recommend for those looking for inexpensive (#cheap for SEO) outdoor snow gear.

Awesome customer service!! The lady at the front desk was nice, polite and helpful! The boxing stand I was looking for was sold out but she called another store to hold it for me!!

In all my 15 year's of shopping this store and other locations, I've always had great customer service and excellent products be it sports wear, boots or athletic shoes. And the sales or coupons help keep cost very affordable.
