I love dollar general as much as I like dollar tree!This store has great variety. They recently rearranged and expanded their selections. I recommend taking your time and looking through eveything. You'll definetly find things you like. Checkout their home section. Great items! Sometimes they have great clearances. I prefer buying my snacks here than dollar tree. You can still get great snacks here for a $1 than at dollar tree at $1.25 Definetly great finds! 100% recommend! I usually always have great service. Download their app for coupons. You can save money!

This one I love and it's close to home. I can mostly find majority of the things I need in here. I only wish they carried seventh generation disinfecting wipes.

Once you get rid of the bad apples the rest of the bunch is so sweet! I've been coming to this location for three years faithfully, they always have what I'm looking for and the staff are phenomenal. I'm legit scared to shop at any other DG location because this one never ceases to succeed. Keep up the great work guys!

Great prices on named brand items, excellent prices on food, wonderful variety of house hold needs. From decor to fixing up house projects. I go there for everything & the employees are very helpful, polite & very hard working. Always keeping the store in total clean & organized.
Though recently for some reason the store hasn't opened & as a loyal customer with lots of friends of mine who frequent Dollar General, i am asking for this delightful store to please open its doors once again & stay on Kedzie. It is a big part of our community & is sorely needed back very much.

I love this location. The girls know me, and my son by name. Great customer service, neat and orderly, and clean restrooms. I would like it if they stayed open a little later, but everything can't be how I want it right.

Great place to shop but the only issue this store has is the fact that they only have ONE cashier when there is a long line. When you go to find other employees they are literally hiding someplace until the line goes down. Prices and selection is great and many of the DG products are good! As far as the complaint by one poster of suspected shoplifting,this store is plagued by thefts so I dont blame the employees for "stopping" your sister. If there is nothing to hide then whats the issue? Other things good about this place is they are well stocked with often bought items so you can almost always find what you are looking for there. The floor employees are helpful and friendly but again the main issue with this place is the lack of cashiers when there are long lines. Very bad business practice that ENCOURAGES theft. Fix THIS issue you will have a great store. For the last week it has been "temporarily closed" for why we dont know but they need to open back up soon as the many people that come then walk away may not come back and you will lose money big time.

Literally travel out of my way to go to this one. I live down the block from another store and WILL NOT go there! Lety and Jeff are literally the nicest people ever. Jeff is always picking up the store after inconsiderate people that try and trash it. This store is so organized and he never lets anyone walk past him without asking if they need help. As for Lety, She's a sweetheart. She is so nice, and just makes you feel like you're appreciated. It's not even HER store, but she thanks you as if every dollar I paid was going in her pocket. If management doesn't appreciate them, they're crazy.

I've never had a problem with this store. They don't always have what I want and sometimes the line is long with only one cashier. But overall, it's a nice store.

I am always greeted by the same evening shift employee...I forget her name...but she is always very friendly..and always remembers who I am and knows my needs. I look forward to her being there when I go to shop! Very helpful!!

They are very friendly and helpful to me and my husband. The store stays clean, I am very happy with the workers and manager. I give all of the workers 10 stars!

The asst store mgr cynthia is nice and help when I come into the store, she is always smiles and u can ask her anything she knows her store backwards and foward. She's a keeper for sure

Best prices and value around. They need more check out stations, though. I waited longer to check out than I spent shopping!!

I often shop here and never have I been followed or, annoyed by the employees. Also I like the prices and find it relaxing to shop there.
