Cash Saver Slidell

I'm reviewing this place because it's not a typical cheap grocery store. Yes, it has cheaper prices but not cheaper quality. Everything a normal grocery store would have. What really stands out is the bakery. So many delicious desserts & cakes. They have a ton of individual desserts in the display case. Outstanding!!!

We got an Italian Cream cake for our grandma’s birthday. It is Very Good! I’m not really a fan of cakes in general but this one is exceptional! I added a picture of the cake so you can see how beautifully the cake is made. It’s not traditional icing, it’s almost like a cheese cake taste to the icing. And the cake batter isn’t just a plain vanilla batter, it seems like a banana nut bread consistency without a banana taste if that makes any sense.

The Best Ms. Amanda and Ms. Alexis in the Bakery Department are the best! They made my cake perfect at the Last Minute. They found a solution. I really appreciate them for making it happen! Thank you so much! I Will definitely past on the word and let everyone know about this great Bakery

I miss working here, it's a great little grocery store. The deli has an exceptional variety of meats and cheeses to offer. The delectable sweets inside their bakery case are far superior to any bakery in town. Just Walking by the bakery's beautifully arranged display of baked goods cheers me up 😊. Shop here regularly & the employees will get to know you and make you feel very welcome.

I haven't been there in a few months and as soon as I walked in I noticed the difference in the store. It's a great improvement. Great fresh new look, bright, clean, well stock. I walked up to an associate who was stocking and polite and told him and later told another person who I later found out was the store manager. I walked in and found him working and left him working. That's the kind of management I Love to see in a business. Someone not afraid to get their hands dirty.

My first time shopping experience went well. It was organized, well stocked, clean. Prices were reasonable. Liked the Deli & was glad they had Boars Head meat. Employees were courteous. Definitely will be a return customer.

Our FAV in Slidell. My husband goes several times a week. The bakery is the BOMB! Produce is awesome and the same cashiers have been there for years. South Slidell is blessed to have this awesome local business❤

Did you see those photos of the desserts? Not only are they inexpensive, they are made in-house & are super yummy!
They have a fairly good selection of beer.
Maybe the best thing is that the majority of the employees are teenagers who are friendly and helpful. Friendly and helpful!
