Yes, I know, why write a review about a full service Walmart store. Seen one, seen 'em all, yes? They're modular. They pretty much, except for the departmental layout, look the same.
The difference with the Walmart on Northshore Blvd. in Slidell, LA is the people. The employees are very helpful. They apparently have been trained to take you to the aisle for the item you are looking for instead of telling you where you can find it. This is a big plus for me because I don't like to hunt for for what I'm looking for. If an employee (in any store) takes the time to show me where my needed item is, I will get the name of that employee and tell his or her employers what a great person they have working for them. I will do it every time.
In a lot of stores you'll see items which have fallen off the shelves or racks and nobody picks it up. Not at this store. Once I saw a toddler riding in a shopping cart reach out and grab at an item on a shelf. It fell to the floor. The mother didn't see the item and kept going. An employee working on items in the same aisle immediately went over and picked the item up. The employee could have ignored it but the training in this store made this employee take the time to do what was right.
This store has a newly-installed food pickup service. Order your food items via the app and assign the pickup day and hour. Drive to the store and park in one of the many designated pickup spaces and tell them you've arrived and in which space you are in. In a few minutes the items are brought to you. And guess what? The service area is clean as well.
The full service Walmart store on Northshore Blvd. in Slidell, LA is where you should go for a pleasant shopping experience.

Really busy during holiday but as long as you know lay of the land it's fine, staff is always helpful and kind

Love the pickup curb service! Everyone is so nice!! This is what I did with my pickup order for my son and his friends! Bakery did an excellent job on the lip cupcakes!❤

Very dirty place and very rude people come in this location leave shopping carts everywhere to blow in to ur carts the parking lot has trash everywhere I've been to a lot of Walmarts and never seen any have the amount of trash or carts all over the parking lots as in Slidell Louisiana

I did not go into the store. I had to pull over because there was a bad storm. It was very lit up in a nice environment and safe.

Kenny gave us great service and helped us with returning something there when he didn’t need to instead of getting me to go online and apply for a refund with allstate

Nice clean Walmart. A selections seem to be good. Here. They do. Check your receipts. It as you leave if you don't have something bagged but they're not rude about it like other Walmarts I've been into.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and love the remodel.

I order online and get delivery. I went into the store to the service center. They were very courteous. The store was clean and well stocked.

Always very polite will keep on coming there thank you but he's going through his rough time to this and still working and even be applauded for the work that done first so would y'all think all the employee for me Mr Larry Polizzib

I love this walmart! The people are always friendly! They are always welcoming and helpful! The store looks amazing after the new remodeling! Customer service now called services was quick and friendly! The garden center lady is always a delight! The store was very clean and very organized! It is definitely the better of the two walmarts in slidell and will gladly drive the extra few miles to go to it instead of the one on natchez road

They have my favorite ice cream at good price

This is the Slidell LA store. The Customer Service desk is wonderful. Professional and helpful.

I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions, and all the pharmacists and cashiers were friendly, knowledgeable, and showed concern.

Just a quick stop to pick up a couple things. All good today 🙂

Always have what you want at a reasonable price sometimes.

Easy to locate items. Checkout was fine.

Always busy here! Sometimes the lines are super long. But the staff stays friendly through it all!

I'm rating it 5 stars just for the new carts alone. I just go there now just for the smooth gliding carts that have both drink and cellphone holders built in them.

Not a lot of clearance items if your a deal shopper. Store is stocked and never less then ten feet from employees that actually care to help. Friendly environment.
