The staff at the pharmacy are wonderful and super nice. They took the time to find the cheapest option for my prescriptions and were very helpful. Highly recommend!

If you're not buying something that has to be weighed, you can park back by Automotive because it's quicker to get in and out.

The young man managing buggies was very efficient and conscientious this morning. Good training.

Good selection of products for a small store!

Store is very nice, clean, and well stocked. Most notable though is the staff. All are respectful, helpful, and very knowledgeable of their assigned areas. I am handicapped and it would be nice to have a few more handicapped carts. I frequently have to wait for one, only to find the battery dead.

I love this Walmart. I literally live one mile away from a bigger Walmart, but drive 15 minutes out of my way to come to this store. Everything about this store is 100% better than the other one: the shopping carts are always in good shape and available, everything they carry is always in stock (never an empty spot on the shelves), the checkout wait is almost non-existent, and the employees are friendly. Even though there are only 1-3 cashiers at any given time, I never wait more than a minute in line it seems. I have even been instructed to go to the self checkout with an alcohol purchase for faster service. I feel that the employees go above and beyond to make sure everyone’s experience here is great and that they really care about how valuable your time can be. I highly recommend this particular Walmart store and will continue to go out of my way to come here. To show you how wonderful and quick this store is, I can drive 15 minutes here and back and do my grocery shopping in less time that it takes me to do the same at the Walmart 3 minutes from my house.

Reasonable prices! I prefer to stop here for items instead of visiting the super centers. Less crowded allowing quicker checkout times. I'm usually in and out 😊

Convenient, workers are friendly. WalMart employees at my neighborhood store are also helpful when I can't find something. Not the pharmacy staff. They ignore you, don't care how long you stand and wait while three workers do other things. Usually rude too, depending on who is working. They are consistently rude and ignore anyone waiting to be helped.

This is my local Neighborhood Market on Pontchatrain. Usually has everything I need in stock. Store is clean and employee's are nice. Check out can sometimes be lenghty depending on number of registers open or bad timing of check out, but that's almost everywhere u go these days. Over all I give them 5 stars because I haven't has a bad experience there.

To cool store to come to the workers are pleasant to you and nice so come to this Walmart it's pretty good when they have everything you need when it comes to food come to your neighborhood Walmart

It is a good grocery store. Easy to find what I need. Really great for quick trips. Sometimes it gets busy but if you can navigate self check out then you can zip in and out quickly. But you can't buy alcohol in self check out. Have to through regular check out or service desk to do that. Good selection of
produce and meats. There is a large selection for over the counter meds.

I am 38 weeks pregnant and had to use a motorized cart with my 4yr old in tow to do my shopping as I want to take it easy. I needed to get in the milk cooler and an employee" Debbie " One of the Assistant Managers who was off duty and doing personal shopping of her own offered to assist me. Everyone at this store was pleasant and helpful. Being that it is the neighborhood market and not the super center also made the experience easier. I would recommend this store to anyone wanting a small town shopping experience, but that still wants the quality of Walmarts supercenter and grocery prices.

Convenient shopping with competitive prices. Great fresh produce and a few items like paper towels and cleaning supplies, a small pharmacy section where you can pick up a prescription, buy some Boost or Ensure, or grab some vitamins or pain relievers.
Self check lines make waiting as fast as scanning your own items, bagging, paying and out the door a breeze.

They always have what I need & want. It's also a great pleasure to shop there because the lines are not long. Someone is always available to help u & its peaceful 😊☺😀🙂

They always have really fresh produce. Im always leaving with a smile happy to be bring home some good food! In there 20times a week bc i cant keep away. :D :D

So organized and managed well. All self service check out lines and someone who is willing to help.

This was actually a good place to go shopping, especially early in the morning.
Clean store selling groceries only. Had a better selection of items than the regular stores.
Has a bakery and limited deli, but no hot food section.

What I truly love is the prices and the self check out. I know what I need right where I need out the door....usually.
When I went at a different time Wal-Mart didn't have enough cash registers open.

I had never been to one of these stores until recent and I loved it I think it offers a better variety then the Big Walmart Stores....
If we had one close to where I live I would be there several times a week

The people in the pharmacy department at Wal-Mart on Ponchartrain Blvd are wonderful. They managed to reduce the cost by over 70% and explained the details and side effects of each medication in a way that was easy to understand.
