The Unkind Raven

I did not expect what I walked into at The Unkind Raven. I was blown away by the assortment of books available, the murder mystery closet was just perfect, it was so charming. The prices were great, the smiling faces welcoming us were just the icing on top. And then to find farm fresh eggs at the check out counter?? Hands down, could not have had a better experience. Great job girls - I’m going to bring everyone I know back!

The Unkind Raven is one of the coolest places in Dandridge! Kaitlyn and Leah are SO sweet and welcoming. Each room is so different and you can tell they put so much work into it. They even have a kids area with a promise that every kiddo will leave with a book!

An absolutely amazing little new/used bookstore! We are in from Ohio and simply googled a used bookstore and this popped up! And we are SO GLAD we decided to give it a try! Such an amazing atmosphere! A beautiful house and amazing staff! And book prices were great! Left with $100 of books and an amazing new coffee mug made by a local artist! Would 100% recommend!

The bookstore itself is so cute and the girls who run it are so sweet!! They’ve got an a good variety of books, newer and older. I was able to attend one of their first classes and it was so much fun! Both girls have recommended some AMAZING books for me. Even helped me pick out a book for my fiancé’s niece which ended up being one she’s been wanting to read!! 10/10 recommend

This place was so unique, inviting and warm. You go in there and find a living room setting to read, play a board game or just chat with people you never met. Lots of interesting books to review and or buy. Some might even be free occasionally. My wife and I truly enjoyed talking to the staff (very friendly) and enjoying a talk with coffee. Must place to visit while in the historic town of Dandridge, TN! Plus its near other stores that include candle making and food. My wife and I included this stop as we travelled celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary!

Great little bookstore with wide range of quality used books and comfortable, quaint atmosphere. They offer classes, book clubs, and an assortment of educational activities for adults and children. Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to relax and enjoy. Stop by, pick up a book, join a class, or make some new friends. You will be supporting a very needed local endeavor and, who knows, you just might find it so comforting that you'll want to come back!!

They are the CUTEST bookstore I have ever walked in to! It feels very homey and I could sit and read in there all day! They have a wonderful assortment of books for all people! Go visit them!
