Nice store. They had everything I needed plus a lot more. Very friendly service and local fishing information. Definitely recommend stopping here for fishing supplies.

Plenty of different lures to pick from . I’m not from Tennessee, and have never fished Douglas Lake . I normally fish West Point Lake in Georgia and several others around me . I also fish Lake Wedowee, and the banks of Douglas Lake looked a lot like it . I wanted to find something different to use . I found some worms I believe they have poured themselves and some jigs … Spinner baits… chatter baits etc. Excellent colors and they are hand tied also. I airbrush crankbaits myself , so I am always looking for DIFFERENT!! I was hoping to find a Buck-n-Bass ball cap to take home with me . But they did not have one in the store . Otherwise….. Excellent place to go with great guys quality lures ! If I make it back up that way I will definitely stop in again . I recommend this Tackle Shop to anyone!

Being a tackle sales rep, I have been in a lot of shops. These guys are by far the friendliest and most willing to help with all fishing needs. It was an overall great experience. Thank you!

I was always under the impression mom and pop places had to charge a little more to keep up with the nationwide retailers. I came in here expecting to pay a little more which I’m fine with. What I found blew my mind. Not only did I pay less than I would have at bass pro shop and Cabela’s, I found baits and colors that I had never seen at those stores. If you’re in town you owe it to yourself to make time and visit this place.

Great mom & pop shop. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. They have everything you need and can set you up to catch fish. Thank you guys for being so kind and encouraging to my son. He loves to fish but at 14 some people don’t give him the time of day. You guys always talk to him and recommend baits for him. This place is a must stop and worth the drive if you are in East TN.

Nice people. Very helpful. Great tips on where to go. Prices were fair, reasonable and competitive. They rent rods if you need gear. Highly recommend.

Great fishing place. I had to go pick up something for my husband while he was at work. He already called and they had it ready for me. They have all kinds of stuff. They are really nice. Quick shopping trip. If you want a local fishing place close to home go check them out and see what they have. I bet they have it and if they don't they will try there best to help you get it.

Great little place to buy your tackle when vacationing on lake douglas. It local and they know whatbthe fish are biting. We didnt need to but thought it was cool you could rent a pole if you forgot yours.

Owners are great. Good selection. Will try to get you anything you need. If you are around Douglas lake you need to make a stop on here and see Travis and his wife!

Great place, they have a little of everything! Great minnows, some places their so small they break into putting them on the hook

They saved our vacation!

On our way to SC we stopped at an air bnb on Douglas Lake. We realized 6 hours into our drive we forgot our fishing poles.

My 6 year old was devastated.

By pure chance, on my way to get groceries I passed Bucks n Bass and pulled in an hour before close.

Of course my husband (the fisherman), was back with the kids and I know nothing. So being alone I walked in and I frantically said “We forgot our poles. I know nothing. What do I need to go fishing TOMORROW?”

The new owner walked me around grabbing exactly what I needed, explaining it all to me, and easily could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. He hooked me up with everything I needed at a super reasonable price — when I walked in the air bnb door to face my fisherman he said, “More than we wanted to spend, but that’s a really good purchase.”

I have one happy 6 year old! And an impressed husband.

Personable owner. Lots and lots of supplies. Need to stock RAGS for the girlies. Lol.

Honest and funny. We drove in from out of town a few weeks back, and I asked "What's good for this time of year?" "Dynamite" was the worker's response. He could have tried to sell me a bunch of lures and rigs. I appreciate it!

I have dealt with Jason and his Dad for years. You can't beat em. They have all of your fishing needs. I recommend them to anyone looking for fishing supplies.

These guys were great he is kid friendly and the only person that told us an honest place to catch some fish while we were at douglas we will definitely make this our go to bait shop down there
