Absolute top quality service and meat. I called these guys up a week before thanksgiving, looking for a couple large, skin-on boneless turkey breasts. These weren't something they normally carried, but they went out of their way to find a bird and butchered the breasts perfectly for me to pick up before thanksgiving. It turned out to be the best turkey I have ever had, and it all starts with the high quality meat Woods & Cuds provided. Not to mention, they found a bird with 4lb breasts (great for smoking with pecan), much larger than normal, but exactly what I wanted to serve my family for Thanksgiving. 5/5, will be returning for all my quality meat needs.

I made my first visit Saturday. Got the highest quality steaks 🥩 I have ever found in Johnson County. Loved the service from Levi and McKenzie. I tried a stuffed chili relleno I took home and baked. If you love to eat high quality safely grown fresh meat, this is the place.

Found on Google while searching for healthy meat products and they have become our goto for everything beef, poultry, and pork.

Open Wednesday - Saturday, we've always found good fresh cuts of meat and meat dishes that have been prepped and frozen or freshly prepped and ready to slip into the oven or onto the grill (with the prepped dishes they even provide a pan to cook it in).

The service is friendly and fast but not pushy. Give these folks a try. You won't be disappointed.

No other butcher, meat or store matches Woods & Cuds. Personal service and the Steaks. What can you say about the Steaks? WOW, that's what we say. Sausages are amazing. Try the stuffed chicken breast on the grill also. I'm so impressed with this store. I drive from Burleson just to get meats there. They also do packages that include good cuts of meat not just filler. Make sure you try the bacon wrapped quail! On a recent trip to the beach we stopped and filled our cooler. We knew we would not find good stuff like this to grill anywhere else. So make it a point to drive here and check it out. You will be glad you did!

Never been to a butcher before, and it showed, but the staff was extremely patient and polite. I usually buy Walmart steaks, but after getting some from this place due to lack of stock at the stores, I will never go back to grocery store steaks. Some of the best steaks I have ever had. Will definitely be back

A gold mine in Alvarado, Texas. Moved to Missouri and miss this terrific Butcher / Meat Market. Best Andouille Sausage around. All the meat is fresh and staff is very helpful. We call ahead for special orders and pick up whenever we pass through the area. Well worth the travel.

Excellent, the best and most tender meats, great fresh made sausages, fabulous selection. Customer service is the best friendly, warm, and welcoming. They also have some great spice blends they make.

Glad I tried them a few weeks ago and now it's the only store I will buy meat from now. You must try the bacon it's perfect cooks up great, doesn't shrink, and is not too salty it actually has flavor.

This place is awesome. Meat is great. Customer service is great. They will cut and package anyway that you would like. Plus there's always something interesting in the case that you will want to try out.

Its hard to find a great old school butcher shop. These guy nail it with their custom creations you can find the in case. Beef fajitas are some of the best I've ever had!

Great and clean butcher shop. Their bacon ketchup is life changing. Their stuffed chicken is amazing, steaks are priced well and are fresh.

This is our exclusive meat provider now. We live in Midlothian and make the drive once a month and buy what our family needs for the next few weeks. They have a great selection of meats already packaged and frozen (including wild game like buffalo and elk). The butcher is very knowledgeable and helpful for a rookie like me and he'll cut anything the way you want it. All the meat is grass fed and without steroids leaving soft, delicious cuts of meat. My husband loves the Beef Sirloin. He grills it up as soon as we get home every time and says it's as good as Argentine steak (notoriously grass fed and tender). I've always just purchased meat at the local Walmart because I didn't know any better, but the price is the same, or even better here AND I'm bringing home better quality meat for my kids. I won't be buying meat at ALDI or Walmart anymore. Thank you Woods & Cuds.

Got a steak from here for my birthday on May 23rd, it was easily the best steak I've ever eaten, got a whole pound of it (practically all meat no grizzle) for only $12, it's so good definately coming back.
