Academy Sports + Outdoors

Very clean and well taken care of store. Went there looking for shoes and found under armor shoes on sale. I'm used to paying around 120 dollars a pair but got these for 44 dollars. It's always good to get a bargain. Also picked up some planters fasciitis inserts for the shoes that seem to really work. Really nice store.

Friendly staff. This store has a great collection of items from apparel to sports equipment. Conveniently located in the Shoppes at East Chase.

Tends to usually have what i’m looking for regarding sports or anything athletic. I came here for some tennis rackets and prices were a little high but I got what I needed. They have lots of good baseball equipment. It’s a pretty good sports store.

My son loves to beat up the man muscle equipment... whatever it's called. I love Academy Sports because it's always clean and everyone is super friendly. I ordered my stepsons football cleats and they had to ship from another store. I made the purchase online, and before I opened my eyes the next morning, I received a text that they were ready to be picked up. When I went to pick themup I was in a rush because my step-son needed them before practice. This was the best seamless transaction I have ever experienced in my life. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Bravo to lady sitting in the front of the door that, bravo the gentleman that brought me my bag with the shoes already in it. Yay to Academy Sports as an organization, and yay to the Prattville location!!

Everything was easy to find. The store was clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. All around good experience.

Has equipment for most of the sports and activities for this area. Cashiers are friendly and quick with transactions. When lines started to build up the staff acted quickly and opened extra registers to get people checked out and on their way. The military discount is now seasonal.

Place was crazy for Black Friday after work, but I was able to ask a young man who was busy facing shelves for assistance. He was extremely helpful and got a flat cart to load my heavy workout equipment (50% Off!), showed me which barcodes to take photos of for the cashier, and took my stuff to the loading dock out back, where pickup was a breeze. Long lines but checkout moved fast.
You have a great customer service representative in Sebastian. He deserves a raise, I'm sure! I'll be back. Very pleased with my visit!

Hiking shoes are really priced well. I bought some Skechers that were less expensive than Amazon. Their collegiate hoodies were on clearance and an extra 30 percent off. Priced better than Walmart. Very well stocked and helpful associates

The store is always clean and bright. The people who work there seem to know where things are and are very helpful when asked. We love the shoe department. My husband can always find a pair of shoes at Academy.

Bought two bicycles they are very helpful.

We're nice and placed my order as they we out of stock on, on sale boat seats. Order on Saturday received on Wednesday.

Great experience buying a shotgun. Friendly and helpful. Called before I went into the store to see if they had the one I wanted. The lady that first answered and directed me to the firearms department sounded angry at me but besides that an excellent experience.
