Hy-Vee Grocery Store

I love this store!full of varieties.Friendly people.And i got 2 pair of shoes there😍 i should have buy some more.

I bought a steak and 2 pizzas and potatoes and i was telling people to be on the look out for a Crazy Dad in our Community and i enjoyed saying it cause its unreal how corrupt our neighbors and hospital and police officers and Southern Iowa Mental Health is Cancer to OUR WORLD!!!

Nothing but wonderful service and helpful employees at North Hy- Vee. Tammy who works in the meat department went out of her way to help me with a bakery item . Tammy saved the day. Many, many thanks Tammy and North Hy-Vee. Your service is greatly appreciated.

I prefer to come here during the day. Day shift seems to be much more kind and friendly than the night staff. Who have their ear buds in to ignore you and ask for your rewards number three times, because they simply just need to be rude and have THEIR ear buds in.

This store is the best. Love their Chinese food also they make the best cakes

I have just recently visited N. Hyvee. I have never seen more genuine people. I left feeling better than when I went in. Wonderful people, Wonderful Store!

This is a great grocery store. Although it's small, they still have decent selection. The Chinese food and other restaurant food selections are very good and convenient. I also love the points you can earn towards gas discounts. It's usually not too crowded, and the service has almost always been very good.

The management here is kind and efficient! I don’t know names but I witnessed her going over and above today with people requiring extra attention and need and it was amazing to watch. Thank you for being an example to us fellow humans!!

Also, the ladies who work in the salad bar/diner area are always kind, helpful and keep it nice and clean!!

Starbucks girls are always kind, helpful and efficient as well.

I chose to go to This Hy-Vee over other in the area because this is what I encounter when I. One here!! Awesome folks!

We shop at about 9:30pm. And everyone was very nice and even carried my groceries to mu car .

Very clean, organized and well stocked. Great deli and has floral, post office, pharmacy, bakery, Starbucks and walk in clinic. Friendly, helpful staff.

The Chinese food here comes in large portions and is inexpensive. They also have a fair bit of diversity to choose, from prepared food and grocery. The service is incredibly friendly, you are their priority and they really want to help.

Ready to find items. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and Willing to help, And, unlike many places where associates scatter like roaches when the lights come on anytime a customer is in the area, their employees are everywhere(but not obtrusive) . Prices are a lithe higher on some things, better on other. They have a discount system for gas at their gas stations and at Casey's. HY-VEE is employee owned. ***edit 11/12/18*** I just went into the store today and I totally spaced the fact that it's veteran's day. The store was giving away free breakfast to veterans. I couldn't meet anyone from that store that didn't greet me, and thank me for my service. Now, I get a little embarrassed by that, as I don't consider myself anything special, let alone a hero(although I've met many). It also made me feel great as HY-VEE doesn't have to do all that. I raised their training from 4 stars to 5. Awesome job!

I love shopping at Hyvee. It's my favorite store. I like low prices and they have the best vegetables and best selection of meats. Very friendly and curtious employees. All around got place to shop. Very clean and friendly place.

Grinnell Hy-Vee my home town store, my first job when I turned 16, great people providing great service. High quality establishment indeed

Love this local hyvee, always have what we need when we need it and always willing to help you locate something if you can't find it. The 3 day sales they run are a great bargain, I tend to get 10lb bags of chicken for 3.80 and hamburger for 1.49lb quite often. Always keeps our freezer nice and full.

This has been my favorite HyVee for many years. They ha e fresh meat and produce, and the employees are always friendly and helpful.
I moved to Des Moines a year ago. Up here I shop between 3 HyVees. North HyVee in Ottumwa is still my favorite HyVee. The HyVees in Des Moibes are ok, but they don't have the friendly personal feel that my HyVee in Ottumwa. I wish I lived closer.
