Quality Inn & Suites

From the phone call to reserve our room til the moment we left was excellent. The 3 gentlemen I spoke to on phone and arrival were very polite friendly made us feel welcome. For myself the location was a bit too far out of town and not close to anything as far as food, gas or shopping. However, I give this Hotel and our stay 5 stars and yes I would recommend the Quality Inn and Suites Hotel in Ottumwa, Iowa

The rooms are updated. Hardwood floors. We took our dogs and they loved it. The hot tub was awesome. Easy access.

Everything was great, from friendly staff to clean comfortable renovated room, definitely will stay again on next trip

I spent the weekend of New Year's Eve at quality inn with my children for our Christmas. The room was clean. Service was good. Breakfast was good. Coffee was good. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was wonderful, courteous and more than happy to help. The hot tub was out of commission while we were there unfortunately and they teamed up with the Super 8 down the street so the guests at quality inn still had access to a hot tub and heated pool! That is something places of business are lacking anymore is working together. It was great to see it and be a part of it! It was an easy check-in and check back out. The only issue we had was them trying to charge us a $250 fee for having service animals and that was resolved. Housekeeping the next morning after my kids had gone, was happy to let me help where I could and gather up all of our garbage and gave me big black trash bags! Thank you for making this a wonderful, memorable weekend for all of us!

Stayed 6/15/23 Absolutely best hotel ! Man at front desk is SO nice, the hospitality is great , NO bed bugs , Very clean ! Was in a newly remodeled room and it was amazing! Beds are very comfortable, water pressure is great and the indoor pool was awesome! When I come back out this way I won’t stay anywhere else but here !

Had a remodeled room...Great! Staff was good to work with as well. Hot breakfast.

My family got to Quality Inn and Suites about 7:45 p.m. on 1/22/2021. We just left a horrible experience at Super 8 Hotel down the street. We had checked in at Super 8 and after an hour in the room our 8 yr old saw a COCKROACH on the wall. Needless to say we left and found this Great Hotel! My husband, son & I went in as we wanted to make sure it was a nice, clean hotel. We explained to the guy at the desk why we wanted to make sure it was "clean." He felt bad for what we went through and saw our frustration. He went above and beyond what was expected of him or needed. He gave us a discount plus upgraded us to a suite. We still needed to eat supper so he recommended some good places to eat. We were so happy to enjoy a peaceful, comfy, nights sleep. We are so appreciative of the generous guy that checked us in on Fri 1/22/2021 and Quality Inn & Suites for your great services. We know where we will continue to stay.

Stayed one night. This is an older QI, but was kept up. The room was clean and set up good. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was really good, with a good selection. The parking lot was big, with plenty of room for trucks with trailers

The hotel is quite, the rooms are very nice and clean. The entire staff is very Professional, and helpful. The staff goes above and beyond for you to make sure that your stay is A pleasant one. Also it's in A great location as far as easy access off and on the highway, and plenty of restaurants near by. I highly recommend this hotel whether it's for one night or an extended stay.

Front desk was very accommodating. Celebrated my daughter's 13th birthday there and they offered to upgrade us to a suite for a discounted price. Pool area is clean and super cute. Jacuzzi was nice and secluded. Probably our favorite part was the awesome breakfast spread! A large amount of delicious food to choose from and everything was fresh! Extremely friendly and responsive staff. We will definitely be back.

This hotel was one of the best we've stayed in.
Very clean, quiet. The next morning at the free breakfast the manager stopped by the table, and greeted all four of our family, asking if everything was going ok, and if not, what can he do for us.
He had a warm, friendly conversation with our autistic son.
The free breakfast was really good, fresh. There was bacon, hard boiled eggs, cooked eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, juices, milk, etc.
If we are back down this way, we will definitely stay again.

Amazing staff. We stay here often. The staff go above an beyond. Great family environment. Kids loved the fresh made cookies. Pool was was. Hot tub my favorite part. Great price . Good continental breakfast.

I stay at this hotel almost every weekend, they go the extra mile to make me feel welcomed and the rooms are very clean & neat. I highly recommend this hotel

Came home for a funeral and went from a horrible 1 night stay at a hotel in Ankeny, Iowa to a comfortable stay in Ottumwa, Iowa where the event was taking place. Was thankful to feel like I was in a clean place I could shower and get into the bed at, cause it wasn’t the case just the day before. Anyway, great customer service, clean, and comfy! Even had some cool little nooks for photo taking.

Wonderful place to stay ..staff are extremely friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was better then most places. Just a good place to stay, and save a lot of money.

I can’t say enough how this place is the best. The rooms look like an apartment and the staff treats you like family on default.

The staff was friendly. The rooms clean. Looks a little rougher on the outside but would definitely recommend staying here the breakfast was good

Very nice hotel. Very clean and quiet. We were only here 1 night but I slept great! They don't have a full breakfast (due to covid) but they have a lot of grab and go options.

Tim from the front desk was excellent, he helped us Carry in our stuff and he was super helpful and polite, the housekeeping ladies were very friendly and welcoming. Room was in okay condition not great but not horrible overall was a good experience and we will return again, he also got is in a room immediately!

A delightful place to stay. I enjoyed every part of this trip. I was genuinely greeted at the front desk. The property was clean and it was obvious the staff took great pride in the facility appearance.
