The English Shop

The store itself is pretty and fun. They have a large tea selection and lots of things related to the British culture. There is a true size poster of the queen, perfumes, candy and cookies.

Pleasant experience and plenty of unique items for purchase.

Perfect! My grandmother came to America 60 years ago from England and she misses the sweets from England. She was able to find all the sweets that she remembers and more! It was like watching a 6 year old in a candy shop for the first time! Thank you for bringing a piece of England to MO for my Granny!! She was so HAPPY!! We will be back and I have told all my siblings about you already!

We've been coming here for nearly 18 years. My autistic son's first chocolate (and still favorite), Cadbury Buttons, is purchased there. (Edit: We have never had a problem with "the old man behind the counter").

Eileen makes this place! What a wonderful lady and full of spirit. The Shop is a gem, full of England's best knick-knacks, food, gifts of every sort, and items you just cannot get anywhere else. I have been coming here for 25 years and its wonderful in every way. And don't forget the English foods such as flakes, Walkers crisps, and Jammy dodgers. A true gem of a place that makes St. Charles so unique.

I miss England and this takes me back to where I’d like to be. Love it!!

This is a nice shop. It is located on a street with other neat little shops. This store fits right in, while offering a range of English treats. There is a nice range of sweats, tea, and other food items. In addition, there are other British themed gifts. The staff were really nice, and the prices for the food items were better than expected. All in all, I would suggest it to anyone looking to bring a little of the British Isles home.

Stopped by twice on our two day trip. We’ll be back again too. Great shop and nice people too!

Cozy British shop! A maze of delights from tea to snack foods to gift items. Authentic items with a wide range of prices. I was able to find gifts for my Irish friends for Christmas. It was busy on a Saturday in December but the line moved quickly. Worth a browse if you like the U.K. or need an unusual gift. We'll visit again!

In Historical St. Charles, this cute little shop has quite a lot. The tea pots where beautiful, plenty of tea accessories, and tea. Very lovely jewelry pieces, decorations, kilts for most sizes, certainly plus sized. They even have different spices, sauces, and some foods. Charming place.

We live in Saint Louis (City). It is always worth the drive to come out to the lovely Old Town St Charles to stop at The English Shop. It’s full of wonderful British Imports: both collectibles and edibles. If you’re Irish, Welsh, Scots, and yes, even if you’re English, they have something from you - heck, even if you’re not, there is something for you.
Pick up some frozen Sausage Rolls or Bangers to take home and enjoy great British cuisine.

As a self described Anglophile, I live for this store. I purposely don't go as much as I want because my wallet hates me when I do go.
From all the teas, sweets, Dr. Who gear, proper futbol merch, and all the little Brit brikabrak make this one of my happy places on Main Street, and one I drive up from South City to visit.

They have a wide variety of products that you can't find in our normal shops. There plenty of different teas in both single packs as well as boxes of teas. They have British goods such as food, shirts, tea accessories, bathroom essentials, kilts, and more. Jewelry is also available. If you are looking for Sherlock merchandise, Doctor Who, or Downton Abbey memorabilia this would be a good place to check. They have some sports stuff as well.

Cutest little English shop! The owners are super nice. They have a great selection of teapots and teas. They also have a few doctor who, Harry Potter and game of thrones things too!

Cozy little shop with a great variety of truly GB items. They have a great selection of tea pots, nice china tea cup sets and different teas for anyone's taste. I definitely will be back!

Very nice store with authentic British food, items ans candy. Beatles playing over the speakers. Owner was personable and nice, very pleasant a sweet.
