We want to give a shout out to Sheldon in the fitness/exercise equipment area! He was wonderful on helping us with the issue that we had with our treadmill and the exchange process. He is very friendly, kind, timely and truly cares about his customers! He went above and beyond. We truly appreciate him. Thank you Sheldon!

Even though we went to the freehold location for last minute school shopping, they had everything in stock that other major chains didn't have half of what we were looking for. They did a great job for preparing for kids school year. Great job guys

It was great they did not have what I wanted but the salesman told me exactly where I can get it at another store. Just like miracle on 34th St. I loved it.

Ed helped me and my partner out today. He really knew his stock well, was very friendly, and overall we had a great experience because of him.

My husband were looking to upgrade his irons and we went to the freehold store and we met Dave to get fitted. He is phenomenal! He helped my husband picked out some really nice irons based on my husband skill level and on our budget. We picked up our new irons and couldn’t be more happier with them! He even helped in giving some awesome tips too. We will definitely be coming back to see Dave for all our future upgrades!! We Highly recommend Dave if u need to be fitted for any clubs!

Came to buy a couple of kayaks. I wanted to thank Ed. Very knowledgeable. Patient. We looked at at least half a dozen different boats and he was well aware of all the differences that I could not think about. Great experience. Now I feel like I did not just to make a purchase, I made an educated purchase.

Pretty good store, has a lot of apparel for a lot of different NY and NJ teams. Good fishing department as well as a nice hunting department as well. They have pretty nice deals on ammo from time to time as well!

I don't usually give 5 stars because I imagine things could always be better, however, I cannot imagine having a better experience, this time, at this place. The reason is simple, "Ray" and "John". The salesperson named Ray, did what every employee should do every time. He provided excellent customer care! I told the store manager, I believe his name is John.
IMHO in order to justify paying the higher prices, a customer must also get higher service. I did!

Great selection, helpful staff. The curbside pickup is the absolute best around. Orders placed online are ready for pickup in minutes and are always promptly brought out to your vehicle. Can't thank them enough!

My husband and i were shopping for hiking shoes at the freehold store . It was i bit picked over , of course after the holiday . Ed , the associate , who was working came right up to us to ask if we needed help . He was familiar with the products and helped to find the right size and color we were looking for . He is truly the best example of customer service and i would highly recommend this location .

I recently purchased a treadmill from this store. I found the employees to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had an issue with the delivery, so I immediately contacted the store, and was transferred quickly to Jake the store manager. He handled the issue quickly and professionally.
The welcoming environment, enormous selection, and quality of the staff make this store stand out among the competition.

If you ever need help with anything Golf related go to Mr. Jerry at the Freehold location! The kindest soul that is very informative about the game of golf. My sister & I came in looking for a gift and Jerry broke down each product for us and the type of player that can benefit from it. He is the sweetest man ! Thank you for your help Jerry!!! You’re the best and we had a great experience & got a great gift!

Gentleman in the fishing department helped me pick out the perfect fish finder for my kayak and at the right price. Can't wait to test it out.

Bought the extended 2 year warranty and if anything goes wrong with it, they'll replace it no questions asked. I'm happy I researched them on the Dicks website.

Brian in the shoe department was excellent. I was looking at running shoes and he asked me questions about what they’d be used for, what kind of arch I have, if my ankles tend to go inward or outward (I tend to be almost flatfooted which has been a problem running for years), and he immediately pointed out 2 specific models made for that. I tried them on and immediately felt totally balanced. Wore them on the treadmill this morning and was actually able to run without feeling off balance at all. I don't normally post reviews but this guy really knew his stuff and seemed more concerned with helping than selling, and I give that an A+!!!
