My Lady Wife's family has been using this CVS since prior to 1989. I belive they switched to this location as soon as it was built. When I married my wife in 1992 and moved to Glenville, this became my pharmacy too. And we still use them today. Like any business, they sometimes get swarmed with customers at the same time, staff gets tired/overwhelmed, they end up short staffed, etc. But in over 31 years, the customer service has NEVER been worse than neutral in good manners. Yeah, sometimes it was obvious that the staff member was "not feelng it" and didn't want to be there. But they were never rude, nasty, condescending, any of that. Just did their job.
And any advice has always been acccurate. They have all of our records, and more than once caught an allergy or drug interaction the doctor missed.
Honestly, what more could you ask for in a business?

I had to challenge my health insurance company to fill a prescription and this CVS pharmacy was more than accommodating at helping me get my prescription - even staying on hold over the phone with my health insurance company for an extended period of time. Stephanie - the pharmacist that was there for me the whole way through - is the best pharmacist I have had! They are hard to come by - thank you so much Stephanie!

I will never shop at this CVS again. I went to purchase infant formula for my son, and I had a manufacture coupon mailed to me from similac. I tried to use this coupon here and was straight up embarrassed by the Store Manager of all people, infront of a line of other guests. The coupon stated to not run it through the electric check machine and what did she do? She went against the coupon’s instructions and informed me that she was refusing to take the coupon. This was the only local CVS with this specific formula, and I can’t afford it without these coupons and now I have no idea what to do for my child tonight. I’m embarrassed, and she made me feeel like a criminal.

Store dirty and products with misleading tags. Pharmacy and store managers both need replacing. Total mess.

Go somewhere else. The pharmacy is slow, the store is always in disarray, and their 2x the cost of Target/Hanford.

This says the pharmacy is open until 9, but when I went to get a prescription I needed, it closed at 8 and I couldn’t get my medicine.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. Pharmacy staff is impatient and abrupt except for Trevor, who seems overwhelmed most of the time was told recently that I was using the self checkout lane improperly. Instead of telling me what I'm doing wrong and chastising the customer, try too explain that the store has gotten new equipment and the bagging area has changed sides. Was told to read the sign and when I mentioned that the bagging side had changed ,I was told to "call corporate" to complain. My response to the associate, was I would call corporate, but not about the equipment.

Unhelpful customer service at the pharmacy. My mom and dad get their prescriptions from this pharmacy. They have been receiving them mail order and the pharmacy recently called and said that the insurance company would no longer cover home delivery. I had to call the insurance company and they said they didn't cover home delivery unless it was from their delivery service. I called CVS and they stated they didn't know why, it just said denied by third party and they gave me the 800 number of CVS. I called the 800 number and sat on hold for 45 minutes (after the VRU said 15) and they finally explained that Medicare now required signatures for prescriptions and they no longer could be delivered and had to be picked up. I did ask the 1800 customer service why the pharmacy didn't have that same information and she said she didn't know and would inform the local pharmacy. While I appreciate that, I believe it should be the responsibility for the pharmacy to know these things. While I'm still having issues knowing why signatures are required by Medicare, that's a different issue all together.

Absolutely cannot stand CVS. Unfortunately have to deal with them each month for my son's prescription. My son has ADHD/ODD and takes methylphenidate once per day/every morning. While I understand this drug is classified as a controlled substance, it is entirely ridiculous that CVS cannot manage the refill process adequately. We get a 30 day supply, every month, for the last 4 years. Each month we have an issue getting it refilled. Our son's doctor sends the script over, on time, each month. CVS says they will have it ready. Either the prescription is ready the day before, or the call and say they ran out of pills! I call this month and am told it cannot be filled until day 31, when my son is already out of pills! I ask why when it makes no sense. I asked if they can fill it the evening of day 30 so that my son has his medicine the next morning before school (like his doctor prescribed). The person I spoke with, Emily, was extremely rude. Put me on hold when I was still speaking, and ultimately said I have to call back tomorrow morning and speak with someone else. This is entirely unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous. As a working mother of 3, I dont understand how CVS can continue to operate so poorly and remain in business.

We had Covid vaccine appointment on Sat 12/18/2021 on 12:30, we came there early around 11:30 and they ask us to go back and come back again. When we came back again, they said the appointment is cancelled and ask us to go to other CVS in Del Mar. I don't understand why they cancelled our appointment. Why we have to drive from Glenville in schenectady to Del Mar in Albany? Why take a vaccine booster shot is so difficult for CVS in Glenville?? WE ALREADY HAD AN APPOINTMENT!! PLEASE EXPLAIN.
