Walmart Supercenter

I hadc2 separate orders an hour apart. The gentleman who brought my items out was nice & enough to check. I was able to get both orders in one trip! Very convenient

I do all my shopping at Walmart they have friendly and very helpful staff and they have everything I need there

Shopping there is easy, the employees are nice and helpful. I use self checkout which goes smoothly for me.

I have 4 kids, 2 dogs, & a big extended family so I am frequently in & out of our local Walmart often. Due to my school, work, & home schedule I am usually there an hour before closing which can upset some people if there shift is ending, but these girls that run the 2nd shift there are always so positive & polite. They are smiling & carrying on a conversation, & they are always so helpful, they never rush me out the door (even though I am usually running trying to get out there way or to get home) they just smile & tell me to take my time & ask is it anything they can help with. So thank you guys & keep up the good work you guys you are doing an awesome job!!!!

Walmart Supercenter located in Altavista Virginia has an excellent selection of arts and crafts supplies for every child age to enjoy for the summer. And don't forget the swimwear and summer sandals.

I love a good thought out trip to Walmart. I try to go with my list and stick to it. Today I was entranced by the sirens call of the 40 volt Hart 14in chain saw. The 5 ah batteries were on clearance so I picked up a couple of those too. My problems with Walmart are that one when I asked for help in the pharmacy for finding something I was just directed back to the aisle I was in. I had to look up on my phone to make sure it was in stock. Then spent another five minutes turning bottles around on the shelf to find it. My second problem is that there was only one human being checking people out. Devon was a very nice guy and able to keep his sense of humor about it. This is not a gripe about Devon, he was wonderful.
Walmart is getting such bad press about how customers are tired of working for Walmart, but that's what we are doing if we have to level shelves trying to find what we are hoping to buy, or taking the chance of being arrested for using self check out lanes.

Love this Walmart and a good selection of items, more so than other Walmart’s. The fueling station is wonderful and clean, however you can’t see it on the maps as a gas and diesel station which it is.

Great grocery pickup clerk. Substitution items just ok, usually better items. Very polite, no contact order . Recommend

5/17/22 Trying to buy a pool in large heavy box, I stopped sales associate (yellow smock) and tried to explain dilemma of item needing some sort of transport to check out due to it being 2x the size of cart and probably 175 pounds. The associate told me I just needed to go to service desk and tell them and kept walking. Being a senior citizen, the thought of walking to the opposite end of the store for what i figured she could help me with seemed a bit rude and uncaring. The fact that the pool was the last on display, I did not want it to be gone before I returned from my pilgrimage. with no other apparent choice, I went to the service desk and asked for assistance on the pool isle and while walking back, I did hear the request over the loud speaker for someone to assist me.
After continuing my vigil for approx. 20 minutes no one had shown up.
I again headed for the service desk and spotted another employee in a blue smock and explained what was going on. She turned out to be one of the most professional caring person I could have hoped for. She accompanied me back to the isle and saw what was needed, summoned help and a merchandise dolly, made sure I got thru check out and she along with two male employees accompanied me to the parking lot where she insisted I stand back and had them load it on the truck for me.
I soon learned that she was the evening Manager and her name is SARA.
One of her helper was names Trevante and the other one resumed his other duties before I could get his name. Many thanks to this angel problem solver. As a footnote, she was not happy with the original employees attitude and lack of assistance and said she would deal with it. Thank you again Sara and Trevante for a job well done.

Cleanest walmart I have ever been in, even the restrooms. Employees were friendly and did everything they could to help find what I was looking for.

I've had continuous good shopping experiences here. The product array is varied (it is Wal-Mart after all) and traditionally neat even at the holidays. This store is less busy than the Lynchburg stores making it easier to navigate in and out in a timely manner. Staff members have always been friendlier and more helpful here as well.

Just left had a great visit with buying a new battery for my vehicle. Associate named Chris super nice guy help me out thank you for your help.. Will be a repeat shopper hear for sure. Great employee.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was very well stocked.

Good thing about here is they got a vape shop and a couple good places to eat and plenty of truck parking!!!
