Food Lion

Their weekly ad runs Wednesday through Tuesday. The Deli offers a good selection plus they have fresh chicken rotisseries daily. They even have a wing bar that is great for a quick lunch. The produce has a nice selection of fresh daily cut fruit for grab and go. If you don’t want to shop, go online and order and they will have the “To Go” team do the shopping for you! They do not have self checkout, you will actually have a human being to interact with. They offer a lottery scratch ticket kiosk and a Coin Star machine. This is a great grocery store and most of the employees work very hard.

The employees at Food Lion are always courteous and 📚 ready to jump in and assist with our general merchandise order as well as our grocery order. The customer care experience was appreciated by us all. 5 STARS 🌟

I ordered groceries for curbside pickup. I received the produce fresh and of great quality. I appreciate the timely service.

Try to shop here when come up from FL to buy groceries to get by on. Nice big roomy store.

I like the organization of the store. We receive a small amount of WIC and Food Lion has the largest selection of qualifying products. The people are friendly and the customer service excellent. They strive to meet the needs of the community and have succeeded. My rating has been upgraded from 4 stars to five because of the consistency in their management and the quality of their team.

I would rather go to food lion than walmart for two main reasons. Walmart is only ok early the the morning before the crowd. I also refuse to use self check out. You want my money check me out.. The staff in altavista is very friendly and helpful and I have never found a nasty bathroom there. The deli is very patient and helpful. They aim too please.

Nice selection and clean store. Staff is friendly and helpful when you have questions. It has its busy times with lines at times, but they do what they can to move you through. Open 7am to 11pm for your shopping convenience.

Always good to go in Food Lion, most of time everything you want is there, not out of stock!!

Of course I love Foodlion it's where I work not this one though. This is the Foodlion near my son's house and it's not bad.

Store is clean and organized well. The staff were all polite and helpful. Prices are what you would expect.

We are moving and ran out of boxes. The gentlemen working in deli meats seafood and produce were most helpful in getting me boxes unlike other businesses I enquired at. I have noticed the Altavista Food Lion has great customer service! Thank you!

Food Lion gets my business because of their produce and meats. Another, more current reason they have my business, is because of other stores who do not like our 2nd Amendment rights.

Food Lion is a good grocery store, overall the place is clean, Services friendly, and in general you're able to get what you need and get on out. Nothing negative to say
