Board Game Barrister

Had an excellent time shopping. Ian was very helpful and honest, explaining games that would be good (and bad) for me and my girlfriend. Left with Decorum, cannot wait to play it!

There was a game night happening when we visited, with robust laughter and happy people gathered around a table toward the back of the store. Ian was on duty, and asked immediately if I had texted the store earlier that morning about a specific game my grandson wanted for Christmas. Indeed, that was me! And Ian had put my name on it and held it for me, even though I hadn't yet seen his response!
There's nothing like a local business that has current and thorough knowledge of their niche, and also demonstrates that they care deeply about customer service. I've been a fan of Board Game Barrister for years, and this experience reminded me of why. Go see them ... and have some fun!

Good store with great selection. Plus a use games section which I’ve bought a bunch of cool classic games from. Staff is friendly and helpful. The option to connect with staff on Discord is a nice bonus.

Great lil game shop! Tons of card, board and mind games! Even have a few game tables in back if you want to play with the games you purchase in the store!

Awesome customer service and staff! We visited yesterday and the staff taught us a new game with a hands-on demo and gave great advice on what to gift my Magic the Gathering-loving husband (he loved the pack I got him!). The staff clearly LOVE games and the passion shows. Can't recommend this store enough :)

My daughter has been asking me for this board game and couldn't find it anywhere but I found it at this store today! And let me tell you, their puzzle collection is huge! I'll be back for sure.

I love this store! The game selection is fantastic and the staff always know a lot. I love the game demos, they really give a good opportunity to test out games before you commit.

We were just walking through after running another errand at the mall and we’re seriously impressed by the variety. Open gaming seems cool, and they have a whole calendar that seems to change frequently.

The people who work here are so knowledgeable and passionate about helping you find the right game and I love that!

Really a great shopping experience. I was looking for some Pokemon card packs as party favors for my son's birthday party. Figured the kids could hangout eat a little pizza and just go around showing off their new cards and trade and play. Which ended up being a great idea!
The problem though was that I didn't know anything about the card sets. Which set the kids might be more into.
The workers totally took the time to take me through the different sets, what the kids might be more into and why. Took the time to put me through Pokemon school 😄 which, as a parent is priceless. It's nice to understand what you're kids are into.
They took the time to help me find what I really needed.
It also looked like they have a giant selection of boardgames! And I'm sure they would take the time to help you find what's right for you

Best place to shop for games, puzzles, trading cards, and TTRPG supplies in town. Frankly, WAY better than Amazon because you can talk with staff for suggestions and their knowledge about their products. Happy to see them back in the shopping center proper again.

Very clean and well organized. I was greeted very politely when I walked in and felt welcome. They have a large selection and everything is easy to navigate through. Worth going to if you are looking for DnD, pokemon or magic cards or board games.

They are open and using very safe pandemic practices so we had no issues being comfortable browsing in store. And the selections were plentiful! Popular and latest board games to choose from. We had multiple questions and Jeremy was very helpful and friendly while we were there. Definitely recommend stopping by if you enjoy board games!

We always have fun when we visit the store. I like being the different games that are out on display. The staffer also really nice about showing you how the games work and not shy about playing a quick round or two with you. I enjoy all of their suggestions. And we've gotten many great recommendations over the years definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a new game

Paddy and Murphy are havin' a pint in the pub, when some scuba divers come on the TV. Paddy says, "Murphy, why is it them deep sea divers always sit on the side of the boat with them air tanks on their backs, and fall backwards out of the boat?" Murphy thinks for a minute then says, "That's easy. It's 'cos if they fell forwards, they'd still be in the friggin boat!"

I love supporting a local business. And the employees know their products, so they're very helpful. We were able to tell Natalie what kind of games are our favorites and she suggested similar games. I definitely recommend them.

Very helpful staff asked if I needed any help right away as I walked in and then checked in on me again before I selected what I wanted. One of the workers also saved me money by letting me know I grabbed the wrong product and that they didn't have the actual one I meant to grab. Amazing environment, probably the best place to get any table top game in the area.

Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Helped us pick out a game to play as a family. They have a great selection and variety of board, dice, card games, puzzles... We will return again!
