Fuel here today for $2.48 for regular unleaded and grabbed two bottles of soda pop on sale. The employees were very friendly and the man at the counter was very kind and even put my sodas in a bag and reminded me to support the bottom of the bag because they were kind of heavy. A full dollar per gallon savings over fueling up in my town!

My regular stop in the morning for gas and goods. Staff extremely friendly and always stocked fresh in the morning. The store is also kept very clean and sorted. Never had an issue at this gas stop and will always be my stop.

This Loaf 'n Jug corner store is a surprisingly clean store for how busy it is. Had all the usual items like water candy cigs. Etc. I noticed the trash cans were empty at the pumps which I always appreciate. Plenty of space to clean out the car while filling up. The pumps are kind of grungy and so are the key pads. The worst part of getting fuel here is that it can be a waiting game getting in and out. The clerk was very polite, pleasant to talk with and seemed to be on the ball. Also very much appreciated. Over all a decent gas station experience.

If I could leave less than one star I would. As my wife and I were checking out at the register I asked the employee behind the counter to grab a pack of cigarettes. She asked my wife and I both for our IDs and I said, "Oh, do you need both?" She said "yes" and we quickly produced them. The employee went to grab the wrong cigarettes and I politely said, "no, they are usually behind that sign". The employee froze. I thought she was looking for the sign to which I was pointing. I stepped to the side and said, "No, the Camel sign above the American Spirit cigarettes. She continued to stand frozen in place, but now with crossed arms. I waited, and after a moment I said, "can I show where they would be?" She responded with "No! You can't come behind the counter!" I said "I wasn't suggesting that, but could you check behind the sign I'm pointing to?" She then said, "not until you quit treating me like I'm stupid!" I responded, "I'm not calling you stupid, but I often have to show the cashier where my cigarettes are because they are not the most popular cigarettes and most of the time they try to hand me the wrong cigarettes. Like you did!" She was extremely rude over an imagined slight. If she is going to work customer service she can't go off at customers like that. Even if she believed I was being rude, which I swear I was going for helpful not rude, she shouldn't have responded like a child. I have never had an experience like that with any other Loaf n' Jug store or employee. I recommend their other locations around town, but this was unacceptable.
Edit: her name is Tina and she is terrible

They wouldn't help me find my bearded dragon at this location or put up missing posters that I magically produced with the regarded wands I make.

Just went into the store to buy some beverages and immediately noticed that it was very very hot, the outside temperature was 84 degrees. Inside the store it was much hotter, hot enough to melt all the chocolate on the shelf and make it unsellable, the bread items were sweating and the employees looked miserable and they were sweating as well.

We talked to the employees about it and they said that it's been like this for a week, somebody was supposed to be in Friday (July 19th 2019) and nobody showed up. This is not an acceptable work environment for employees.

I've gotten contact with one of their district managers in the region and the only response that we got was "we're working on it". And in my opinion we're working on it is a highly unacceptable response when it comes to employees health and the right to work in a safe environment.

There are more than enough refrigeration companies in the small town to fix this issue within 24 hours. I understand every company wants to penny pinch but when it comes to destroyed product on the shelf an employee's well being, these things should be taken care of immediately.

If the company didn't just fire all of their maintenance people they wouldn't have to wait weeks on end for things to get fixed. this store is not the only store that has had issues like this that needed to be taken care of immediately but management has dragged their feet on and on.

I work for a company that deals with frozen products and have on multiple occasions needed someone out in an emergency and it has not been an issue. To sit there and think that "we're working on it" is an acceptable answer regarding employees unsuitable working environment is negligent.

if I provided that answer to any manager above me they would look at me and tell me that they will not accept that kind of answer so why should anybody else except that answer from them? as a manager you are expected to perform at a higher level than regular employees and to provide an answer like that is despicable.

I've been a customer of loaf and jug for over 10 years and I've enjoyed it but the new company EG group that has taken over is complete and utter garbage. I've had very good managers in my life that have taught me to be proactive not reactive when it comes to issues in a company and this company doesn't seem to hold those values.
