Excellent homey thrift shop. Store manager Sharon and the store associates are the stars of the show. Well displayed with low everyday prices and loads of sales daily. They accept donations such as Clothing, Housewares, Electronics, and well made furniture. Would recommend before any other thrift location.

Palm and Able is much nicer than your average thrift store. It's very clean, organized, and affordable. They have color coded discounts as well.

I just love this store but what I really love is the excellent service from all of the staff especially Thomas! He really knows his stuff! I like to shop at least once a week and Thomas is so friendly and willing to help. Whenever I purchase breakables he makes sure to wrap them safely and securely. Kudos to the staff and to Thomas! This is a thrift shop that I hit every time I drive through Connecticut. The selection is completely unmatched. The staff is super helpful and friendly, but Tom in particular has the knowledge like no other when it comes to clothing and really anything vintage. He is my go to guy for any questions. I am so thankful there are people familiar and fascinated with the past nostalgia like Tom is.

I have been to palm and able numerous times before. This time was special and I wanted to share. The store manager Sharon and assistant manager Thomas were able to assist me in finding an item I had been longing for. I finally have the perfect Christmas present for my mother and I owe it to the fine people at the Palm & Able. I will be back again!

My boyfriend and I came across this gem while exploring the area for thrift stores. We have never loved a store more than this one. The owner is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She is informative, caring, and obviously has a love of helping people. The selection this store offers is beautiful and so unique. Whenever we come to visit we always end up leaving with wonderful additions to our wardrobe and smaller accessories! Palm and Able is clean, has such good prices, and is for a great cause...who wouldn't support this gem? Went to Palm And Able to find some last minute Christmas gifts for the old folks home. I found and employee and told him what I was doing and if he could help me find some items for these people. Thomas said it would be his pleasure to assist me. With Thomas help I was able to finish Christmas shopping and some. Without Thomas I would of been in the store for hours

Best thrift store in the state of connecticut thanks to the wonderful employee, Tom, that makes my experience the best there is every time I visit. Tom works hard to keep the store as well kept and in order we possible. Great thrift store all around.

First time visiting today and I agree with all previous 5 star reviews. Nice selection, great prices, clean, well organized and the woman working there was friendly and helpful.

Like most I'm not doing much in person shopping these days, but I did tiptoe inside to see what the place was all about. The manager went out of his way to introduce himself and tell me about the The Kennedy Center and about the store itself. The store is very well organized and the merchandise is clean and nicely presented. I will definitely be back!

When I came across their mission, I knew I had to stop by. What a wonderful purpose! This was my first thrift store. If only other businesses would learn from them, great customer experience, neat and clean & we'll arranged.
Their repurposed items are in great condition, most of them a superb find! Think vintage Marshall's but your are giving back to society. A true feel good store.

Great selection of clothing, home goods, art, jewelry, you name it. Especially for the price. The people working were extremely kind! They helped me move some bigger artwork I purchased to my car.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT. THEY ARE ON MY LIST OF MUST GO TO SPOTS TO LOOK FOR BARGAINS. THE CLOTHES ARE GREAT AS ARE THE HOUSEHOLD GOODS. THE STAFF IS TERRIC, THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY FOR YOU. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE. IT IS ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE.
