Canal's Discount Liquor Mart

I enjoy visiting this store... the staff are very helpful and will go out their way to assist you. If you don't see any item on the shelf they are willing to order. The discount I received was more than half compare to other places. My first encounter with the wine I love was at the OG and I have found others who sell for astronomical prices... Thanks to Canal's I am a happy customer!!! A glass of wine a day keeps the doctor away ;)

Great liquor store with nice selection of Irish whiskey and Bourbon. Friendly staff and the owner is a really nice and helpful guy. Good selection of mixers and pretty much everything you need for your bar. Highly recommend.

Excellent selection and everyone there is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! They have helped me track down some great whiskey, hard to find wine, and they always have good deals on cases of beer. A family owned business you should definitely check out.

Absolutely incredible wine selection but more importantly an owner who knows his customers and their tastes. My wife and I have been coming here for the past few years and feel like we have our own personal sommelier. Time and time again his recommendations have blown us away and just as we think we’ve found the perfect bottle he recommends one better. Don’t let the name fool you, he stocks some incredibly high end wines as well as others to fit any budget. So whether you are price conscious, starting to develop your palate or an wine expert this is the store for you.

Huge selection! There was a lot to see, and the staff is pretty knowledgeable. Lots of sizes, flavors, and styles in liquor, wine and beer. Some mixers, accessories, and an ok selection of minis. Interesting to just walk around! Prices are also pretty good!

I really like this place whenever I am in the area I stopped here to pick something up they have a little wine area where you can do some wine tasting not that I'm a big wine person but they always have what you're looking for as you jump out of the way from the employees running around with hand trucks but the cashiers are always nice and pleasant. And always willing to help you I would definitely recommend this place

Owner super helpful and willingly shared info on ice wines. They also had 1 of my favorite, not so easy to find beers, Schofferhofer. Have whiskey and wine on tap throughout store, but not large enough spaces to sit and enjoy them. Parking lot is a logistical nightmare because of the adjacent traffic light's angle.

Great selection of wine and beer. Good prices. The manager (?) was so helpful finding new wines to try based on our taste preferences. Can't wait to go back and find other new wines to try.

Cashiers are professional but looks like the manager is trash, talking to the ladies with a nasty attitude. I would of loved to slap him silly. At the end whos ever is working have care for their lifes.

Bourbon selection is very impressive! Scotch selection needs some love. Very knowledgeable staff. I ask 21 questions before I chose anything/trust the person's opinion.

Store manager was able to help us with the red wine selections and gave us some history on some of the white wines. He also stated that some of the imported beers have a different alcohol volume than some of the domestic very enlightening outstanding customer service

My favorite "spirit" store in N.J, everytime me and my lady head to AC we definitely make a "pitstop" here. Grab a shopping cart because it's spread out in here, every selection, size, and brand you can think of, if you dont see it ask. What i like is there's always something going on, a promotion, a giveaway, or a tasting!!! The people who work there are cool, always inform you of the sales, very friendly!!!

Best liquor store in the area (lived in May’s Landing for some time). They have a great selection of craft and local beers and even participate in NJ Beer Club so you get a discount if you’re a card carrying member!

Ok, so still gave 5 stars even though they stopped carrying Budweiser Chelada. Don't know why, employee doesn't know why...stuff is the bomb if you like clamato or bloody marys. Will I be back when we now have so many liquor stores in the area? Don't know but pricing is still good and staff friendly.

Very helpful staff. They have a huge selection of items at fantastic prices. We stop here whenever we are visiting family from North Carolina. Recomnend it!
