Hao's Grocery & Cafe

This little grocery and café is so cute! Their homemade dumplings are incredibly tasty too, there's beef, pork, and veggie dumplings. They also have various chili sauces to try with the dumplings, my favorite is the sesame chili! 😁

I love this place! They have a lot of great items, from eggs, meats and produce, to salt and rice. The fresh baked cookies are amazing, and so are the steamed dumplings on the weekend. And the best deal of all is the market box. Eggs, milk, fresh bread, and all kinds of fresh veggies at a crazy good price. Also a great place to meet foodies and have a good chat about your current cooking obsession.

Hao is one of the people that REALLY adds flavor to Fort Worth. Her grocery store has lots of interesting items that you would normally only find at a large Asian grocery on the other side of DFW. She also has lots of local products (bread/meat/goods) to pick up. You can also take cooking classes or participate in her monthly family style meals. I am glad to have met Hao and you should certainly do yourself a favor and stop in and take a class, grab some frozen dumplings, or sign up for the monthly meal.

I love coming into this store; everything feels carefully selected and unique. It feels like a farmer’s market. My dogs love these mussels biscuits I get there. And I enjoy the chicken eggs.

I love that she does farm to table at her Market!! Fresh baked bread meat eggs dairy it's fabulous! Her dumplings OMFG, can't get enough of them delicious! We went last week to her Thai cooking class we had so much fun met other students and we all had a blast and of course we all did good and the food was delicious I highly recommend if you're looking for Farm to Table supporting local farmers and Bakers stopping in and seeing what they have to offer

My husband and I just had the most wonderful night of fun and delicious food. We attended the pho cooking class and not only had amazing pho but salad, curry, and more. We enjoyed ourselves so much and recommend this charm of a place to anyone looking for a unique and delicious night out. We made two new friends. Thank you for everything Hao!

Great small grocery with an amazing variety of specialty foods! We have attended many wonderfully thought out and tasty dinners as well. The family style dinners bring together community and the love of food. I have never had anything less than amazing from Hao. Pick up the makings for a meal, attend a specialty dinner or class and share a smile with new friends.

Such a wonderful little grocery with a wide variety of snacks and drinks! Loved the butterscotch cookies and white peach soda. Nice and accessible, too, which is always a plus in smaller shops. The owner, Hao, is so kind and welcoming as well! Definitely worth a stop!

Our group had the pleasure of attending the communal dinner featuring Korean Fried Chicken, and it was nothing short of amazing. It was clear that each dish was crafted with care and passion, making us feel like we were part of something special.

The star of the show, however, was Hao herself (the owner & chef). She took care of everything from start to finish, making us feel like we were enjoying dinner prepared at home. It was clear that Hao puts her heart into every aspect of her business, and it shows in the quality of the food and the warm, inviting atmosphere of her cafe.

What makes this place even more appealing is the BYOB policy. Being able to bring our own beverages added a personal touch to the evening and made the experience even more enjoyable.

I shop here weekly. I love the vast assortment of goods and, quite frankly, I am addicted to their fresh eggs and Japanese BBQ sauce. The cooking classes and dinners are so much fun!
