Walgreens Pharmacy

On two separate occasions, the staff has come through in a pinch for me. In one case, the pharmacist (Jill was her name I think) was able to inform me how a vaccination could be covered by my insurance when I was attempting to have it done out of pocket. In the other case, my network pharmacy gave me inaccurate information about the availability of important travel vaccinations the day before I was to leave. Belal accommodated me not long before closing that evening for which I am very grateful. Even though this pharmacy is not the preferred provider for my insurance nor is it the closest to my home, I will go out of my way to give them my business as they have earned it.

All the one star reviews are correct. Tried so hard to be nice and wait a few days (if I miss a few days of my inhaler then that's okay, I am just trying to be understanding), but there was never any update just a cancelled order. When I called to check in was told that everything a pharmacy tech told me a few days ago was a lie. Pharmacist blames the system being down (which is valid), but that doesn't excuse the tech lying about my medication timeline. Pharmacist says that it was the end of that techs shift...so what?

If there is an issue with a prescription shouldn't the individual get a call that explains what that issue is? A fax was sent to your doctor, a shipment was delayed, etc..

Also, I get notifications when my doctor sends over prescriptions and this pharmacy has an issue with "finding" them. If my prescription says a 90 day supply, thats what it should be, not a 10 day supply. Walgreens systems are terrible, they also never updated my address from 15 years ago, I had to tell them over and over again to update it and that address was incorrect.

I feel bad for any person who has to use this pharmacy when they have real life dependent drugs they need. I only need to be able to breathe so thats not that big a deal...

The male weekday daytime pharmacist is terrible. They were out of my medication today, and he told me he would call my doctor and have a script sent to another location that had it in stock, and he never followed through... he has also done this to me several times before. One-time prior, he refused to look up insurance information for me, as well... his customer service leaves a whole lot to be desired.

Wow. My Dr called in a prescription last night. I just checked on it and was told it would be ready after 3 PM. It’s not even 10 AM.
