Magic etc / Ft Worth Costume

Best customer service ever. My 7 year old wanted to spend his birthday money on magic tricks. The employee showed my son multiple tricks and gave him lots of options. Then he even sat down with my son and taught him how to do all the tricks! So kind and amazing. Will definitely be coming back to this place.

This place is great. Has tons of costumes, movie memorabilia, decorations and party supplies. Fun place to visit or learn a little something about the past of movies. The staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming.

Talk about a hidden gem!!! I stumbled across this Magic/Costume store by accident and boy was I totally stoked. At first glance you’d might think this is a bust and be doubtful but once inside be ready to find almost anything one would need for a dress up party of any sorts, magic supplies out the wazoo, equipment (speakers, laser/light show, fog, ect.), Halloween. I might add this is the most exciting review I have had the chance to post. So let’s start… you got a party coming up and need a costume this is your place from every era to every fantasy they have it!! Best part is they even have this section where you can try on and make sure it fits & just rent the costume instead of having to purchase. Next is the magic section…. Which was really cool, Josh even did a little magic trick for us… totally awesome. Never seen a magic trick in real life. Then went on exploring the store and arrived at the electronics section which they had stuff to rent and purchase…. Example like speakers, fog machines, laser lights & light show worthy. And I wish I could remember prices exactly but what I can say is that out of all the specifics Josh was saying I did tell my fiancé wow those are really affordable and reasonable prices!!! As we carried on thur the store we made it to the downstairs where the Halloween section is… now mind you im doing this review in late February so they weren’t completely stocked with Halloween but still didn’t fall short of quality… Josh did mention when it is Halloween time they have serious nice selection of masks. As you can see from my pictures I took while there I was still highly satisfied with what I was seeing. I tried my best to capture many pictures just so one can see the variety of products. Now I’d like to add just how friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable the staff was. Yes Josh was one of them, got to meet the main magician also which was pretty cool. And last let me mention the prices I seen on items or that were mentioned to me was pretty sweet…. I really hope you enjoy my review and take the time to stop by one day. You won’t be disappointed.

What a great experience! So many cool costumes made for any time of the year. The magic duo were so awesome with my son and made his day by showing him a few tricks! We were immediately helped and shown around, got a great deal on a Rudolph suit... then we were able to purchase a jacket for a Christmas gift that was originally not available to be purchased but the young lady there took care of us! You can tell they love their jobs there, and more importantly they love their customers! We will be back!

We love this store! It's a great place to shop for any of your costume needs, be it renting or buying, and to find products you won't find elsewhere. The variety is off the charts. We always find something new when we visit.

We were in need of a solution really quick, our neighborhood costume party was in a few days, and we were now able to attend! What to do?! Get yourself here, that's what. The building's not much to look at outside, so what, it's what's inside that counts, right! Once you walk through the door, Boom! Overload hits you immediately. Inhale...turn right, and go visit with the costume clerk and rent yourself a stage ready getup that will turn heads all night at that " kegger" your heading to. We purchased a packaged matching set costume with/and accessories, of the Wizard of Oz, (Dorthy & the Scarecrow). So make sure and try your costume on, as there is a no return policy, and it's way fun to try a couple of them on anyway. The "Oogie Boogie" was a blast and so fun in front of the mirror! Their price points on their merchandise is fair, but it's so worth it to "get a visual and touch things" sometimes, especially for Halloween! Our costumes were a big hit at the party and our experience here was positive and fun! Highly recommend!

Great shop, great people, very helpful in the Costume area!! Theyxwill help you find the right fit for your costume whether a rental or commercial purchase, The Magic Shop side is cool too it reminds me of the Old School Magic Shops from the 1980 era. Go check it out for yourself!!

This place is amazing! We stopped in to look through the magic section and got treated with some impromptu card tricks! Otherwise, there’s such an awesome selection of costume gear and an entire section devoted to party lighting… can’t wait to head back and spend some more time in here!

There are amazing costume options at this store. They sell wigs and accessories and all kinds of scary Halloween decorations as well. I appreciated the dressing room so I could try on the costume to check on the fit; it helped me decide between a few of them. The customer service was great since someone helped me find what I needed from images on my phone.

My family loves this place . We live a good way from the shop but make the drive at least once or twice a year . The prices are very compatible and in most times cheaper but better quality to what you'd see on Amazon or Spirit Halloween . Shopping online can be overwhelming if you really don't know what you're looking for . Magic seems to have EVERYTHING from Ben Nye And Krylon makeup to prosthetics to Costume rentals , Props ,Stage lighting and costume purchases, wings, shoes , and so much more . Magic is fun just to go in a look around. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable about their products . My family purchased for Halloween and Christmas , they have a wide selection of Santa and Mrs. Clause costumes including the Grinch.

we came to the magic shop to find the perfect santa jacket for a photoshoot, nancy in the store directed us through sooo many costumes and helped us find the most perfect fit within our budget. i would absolutely come back here for any and all costume needs! nancy was warm, welcoming, and BRILLIANT, go nancy :)

Awesome staff, open to conversation and made it a welcoming experience for someone who has always driven by but never gone inside - your sign caught my eye so we turned around to check it out. A large variety of props and costumes and some pretty cool tricks near the front. Don't forget to check the rental area for some of the more detailed costumes!

This place was awesome! I had my doubts going in, but was amazed by all the cool stuff and very friendly and helpful staff. We were greeted by the owner when we walked in and he was very helpful as well. We will definitely be back!

These guys always have a HUGE supply of costumes. They also have a wide selection of magic, but recommend that you get on their Second Saturday List! Save money and support brick and mortar magic shops!

This is the place to pick up your outfits for any Halloween outing whether it be with friends family or your kids this is the One Stop Shop that you want to at least stop by once I've been at least three times in the last couple days they provide great customer service help you with any needs I recommend you speak to an associate by the name of Josh he has a wonderful personality and is very helpful and answering all questions this probably will be my lifetime place of picking outfits out recommend and they also have vintage costumes that after the covid-19
