I was in Albany recently while travelling on vacation. For some random reason, my laptop lost the ability to connect to wifi and therefore, the internet. This was a big disaster while travelling. I went to this store and the Sales Manager, Peter, took the time to diagnose the problem, reinstall the wifi driver and sent me on my way. Refused to let me pay him for his time! That was exceptional customer service!

Peter took time to fix my all in one printer. There was something in the printer feed that caused an error message. Peter also found the ink was working properly and fixed it. The two women at the cash register helped get the app set up for me. A huge thank uou to all!.

Last week, both my husband and I both purchased new computers at the Staples store in Northway Mall in Colonie, Albany NY. We worked with Peter DiGregorio on start to finish of the process. Highly experienced, Peter's knowledge of computer technology AND his customer service skills are OUSTANDING. Peter miraculously figured out a way to retrieve the long archive of our files from our truly dead family computer. He worked supportively with us on the selection of new computers and the appropriate service plans to meet our needs. Peter meticulously set up both computers and carefully walked each of us through the set ups and everything else. When he tells you that he is available for follow up questions, he means what he says. Additionally, Peter is well organized, sticks to his scheduling, follows up as promised, and is patient in explaining things and responding to questions or concerns. Peter is a fantastic asset to Staples and to the Albany/Colonie store in particular.

This five star review is the result of an employee in the copy department. I believe her name is Saladasia. On 6/26/23 I brought in a few items that I wanted to have laminated. One was a sticky note that was written by my son, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 31 last Summer. The very day I was at Staples was the anniversary of the last day I saw my son. As I stood looking at my son’s sweet words to me, I started to cry. Saladasia did the laminating right then and there and handed them to me. Saying she was sorry for my loss and that I didn’t owe anything. That it was a gift from her

I hope that anyone reading this review will take a beat to think about the impact a bit of kindness and compassion can mean to another. It doesn’t take much. We never know what is happening in the lives of those we encounter on a daily basis.

I have only been to Stepa once and the behavior of the staff impressed me a lot. I hope to go again.

The black dude with curly hair at the time was really nice so I give you a four star yeah. One more star for the convenience of items. I know how your store tricks work, but because the one we were getting was convenience, I'll add a star. Love you guys z

I have been buying my computers here and the staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. My old computer died unexpectedly and Staples had what I was looking for at a better price than Walmart, Best Buy, and Target. I would highly recommend this Staples to anyone.

This store has always been stressful to go to, unorganized and with staff who didnt care.
UNTIL NOW, This store has a new manager who is personable, kind, hard working and truley a leader.
I cant say enough good things about the change in this store. I watched this person motivate and teach the staff HOW to take care of customers. GREAT JOB STAPLES for getting the RIGHT per

Had a great experience this morning with the young man on UPS area. Kept busy by a few people asking questions and had a smile on his face the whole time. Easy process to email the shipping label I had for a package to the store for Staples to print out.

Tom was a great help today. I think he is one of the managers because he was there as soon as the store opened (and, he acted like a manager). What I mean by that is, he knew what he was doing in every area of the store, was very focused and helpful as soon as he was made aware that a customer (me) needed help. I am thankful he was there because my print project was coming to an immediate deadline in about 30 minutes and thanks to Tom, not one moment was wasted. I felt like I was the only customer in the store.

Well... I actually WAS the only customer in the store... HA!

BUT... he was trying to get all the opening procedures done and EVEN THOUGH I was "the only customer in the store", he paid attention to what I needed to get accomplished as IF there was a huge line of people behind me giving him dirty looks for having to wait on line for two seconds.

I put THIS particular STAPLES on my "Business Resources" list and I WILL drive all the way across town JUST because of how Tom helped me. Bravo, sir... and thank you.

I was originally very upset with this Staples Printing Department. They hired a new manager and that department has completely turned around. I visit Staples once a week due to my job and Abby and Tash are so good to me! They know my name when i walk in, they are very diligent, they do their absolute best to get my order to me. Go Tash and Abby!!

Shoutout to Les for outstanding customer service. There was a mixup with out son's desk chair that he needs for remote learning & this guy went above & beyond. NOT what you'd get through Amazon. Thank you for setting my kids up right for his school year!

My handheld fell in some water, so I brought it in for the Staples' techs to hopefully repair with their weird ball bearing machine. The woman in charge was kind enough to give it a try, despite the fact we had to stay a few minutes after close. Thanks so much!

Very friendly and helpful staff and the shop seems to have everything. We were looking for stuff like a cardboard poster tube. They got it. Even Polaroid Instax Pics they got. And the prices on the stationary are almost unbeatable.

Always loved Staples. If they don't have what I need they can get it. Also I've purchased a number of my devices (laptop, printer, etc.) when on sale and have gotten some excellent deals.

I appreciate Aeron you assist me in getting a letter I need printed off my email. He was able to print out efficiently. Great job. Sincerely grateful.

Copy center guy and gal always ready to help me out with printing documents from my thumb drive. Other than that, you got rubber bands, paper clips, graph paper and highlighters and Sharpies for tagging everything up. Have phun.

fedex office off wolf road which took 4hours n only half way done n yet told me to print somewhere?
btw the staples staff is a professional!
