Listen... If Diamond was any happier going to Benson's to pick out her own rawhide free chew sticks, I'd probably have trouble getting her to leave!

Never been to a pet supply store where the employees are this friendly & helpful!

Benson's must be treating their employees right because they always seem happy to be there.

We love Bensons! This is my baby, Tom's favorite place to go! We have such a great visit, and the team knows Tom by name! Every couple weeks, Tom gets very excited to visit his girlfriends, Beth and Katie! This team is wonderful, the store is well stocked, organized, and we always have a great experience! This team truly loves and cares about pets!

I was in today to get assistance with a small tank for my STEM classroom. Katie was helpful, educated me about the process, and went above and beyond with kindness. I look forward to growing our ecosystem thanks to Benson’s Pet Store in Albany!

I love this place! I thought it was too fancy and overpriced until I went as a favor to my sister and doggie dog!!!! They have everything from all price points! My dogs have some allergies so it was great that they had such an awesome selection of treats and toys! Definitely recommend to all people who have pets that are true family members!

Came in tonight after my daughter recommended we go there for our new Labrador puppy. We met Katie as soon as we walked in. She walked us around the whole store, making recommendations and checking off our puppy need list one by one. She was amazing. Answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. With that said, we will be back. Our new go to pet store for sure!

Well this was a nice find! Someone I work with recommended I check out Benson's, and I have to be honest I was really pleased. They have this really cool Benson box, at least that's what I call it, and you can get it once a month when they have them in stock. Stock. It is a box full of various treats and toys and other necessities for dogs and cats. I found the price to be very reasonable, especially for all the different things they added in.

I signed up for the free membership and plan on coming back again.

They have a great variety of everything that you could need for your pet. The staff are always helpful and friendly. It's a pleasure to visit any of the locations.

Excellent selection of food for cats. One of my cats has food allergies and they have lots of different brands that meet his needs. Lots of brands you won't find at the big box stores. Good range of things from low budget to higher end. Friendly staff and the store is always well stocked and organized. My cats are happy and so am I!

If I could give Bensons Colonie location and its staff 10 stars I would!

The staff at Bensons are the most knowledgeable, kind, and helpful people. I adopted a puppy not knowing what she would need and what would be THE BEST options for her.

Kylie has been a huge help from day one in choosing healthy food, treats, supplements, and accessories for this furry little beast! She is always happy to see us and has great suggestions.

I think Rahvyn’s favorite phrase is “C’mon we’re going to Bensons!”

These guys always let me come in and weigh my mice before I buy them. This is important because snakes need to be fed based on a percentage of their body weight. I appreciate these folks so much for that reason.

The workers were so friendly and sweet!! The tanks were clear and the bettas had actual aquariums!! Great service, love it!

I never go anywhere else for dog stuff anymore. Benson's is great. Very happy to have the dog washing station at the Clifton Park location now.

I was surprised by the size of the store and the breadth of the selection. If you can't find a suitable dog chew there, you probably won't find one anywhere. You might just spend way too much time making a final decision, as I did. Thankfully, they do carry Hill's Science Diet cat food for dental health, which is what our expensive (yet simple-minded) cat apparently requires these days. The sign says it's a family owned business, and it was a pleasure to shop at a pet store that isn't a cookie cutter chain store.

Very knowledgeable staff, friendly - they just love animals. Quality food lines and trusted buisness.

Staff is friendly, welcoming, helpful, readily available & extremely knowledgeable. I enjoy shopping here with my dog whenever possible. I highly encourage everyone seeking high quality, caring, helpful, bright & intuitive staff to help you fulfill all your various pets' needs to shop here!

Benson's is the best!! My friend recommended it a few years back & I've been shopping here ever since. They're local & they really care about your pets!

Adopted a bunny from here and she is honestly the best we love her. They care about the animals and always try to do what's right for the animals!
