Dollar General

Andrea just made my day complete. 5 stars. Thank You for helping me out, Pepsi & parmesan cheese, thanks for making our family supper 5 stars...
Spaghetti is only 3 or 4 stars without the parmesan cheese...even sprinkle some on the green beans.

I love going here. The staff is super amazing and friendly. The store is super nice and clean all the time. Shelves are always stocked and I never see anything on the floors.

PEOPLE

Although there tends to be limited staff and always a long wait in line. The couple of workers are quite friendly. Unfortunately because of whose running the country is running me to limited choices and prices that are outrageously high. But, it's not just Dollar General. It's everywhere.

It's a new store they just opened about a year ago. The store has a lot of different varieties of stuff you have alot to choose from also.

Careful with the prices here. Like many dollar general's, things commonly ring up higher than listed, and they're commonly out of things.

The young guy that works there that usually wears a brown hat is awesome. Extremely friendly and always willing to help.

I can't say that about everyone there. Especially, the young woman with colored hair (lately purple). She's usually rude, acts like she doesn't want to work and doesn't hide the fact that ringing you up has just irritated her. She'll even lie to you about store policy to avoid having to do work. For example, telling you that you can only return items to the store you bought them from. (This was when I tried returning an item that rang up higher than the shelf price, and I was trying to return it when I realized the price discrepancy when I got down the road.)

There's plenty of Dollar generals in Lapeer and because of her I prefer to go to the other ones.
