Indigo Lavender Farms

We attended IndigoFest at Indigo Lavender Farms, the first visit for both of us. We arrived early and there was ample parking at that time. As we were leaving, we noted that the parking spaces were full in the closest lot but there is another, much larger lot a close walk away.
The option to purchase a band to be able to pick a large bouquet of lavender and/or cutting flowers was a nice surprise (and offered daily, not just during the festival). The farm provided scissors for cutting our flowers too. The handful of food vendors had a nice variety of foods and their prices were reasonable ($16 for a huge nacho bowl with choice of meat or vegetarian was more than enough food for 2 people - we couldn't finish it!).
The farm is much larger than we expected, sprawling over 23 acres. There are numerous lavender fields that are not only beautiful but smell intoxicating! A large wildflower area, marsh, pond, wooden bridge, honey bees, picnic tables tucked into a thicket of tall pines, and many little sitting areas kept us roaming and busy. Our last stop was the store which is full of delightful gift ideas, honeys, soaps, lotions, fabric goods and foods that are priced well. Worth the trip!

Fun summer activity!
Plenty of lavender themed stuff in the shop plus multiple varieties of lavender to self-pick. They give you scissors and a band to pick the right amount of lavender - which equates to a nice size bundle! The lady in the shop gave great advice on what to do with our bundles and how to split them up and dry them.

Lavendar daze fest in July and the second Lavendar festival is on the first August weekend. It does wrap up quickly at 5 PM. However, the farm store remains open for a little more time, they are very accomodating. You can get an entire bunch of lavendar and pluck them yourself..be wary of bees :p It is for $18 if you don't want to go for that then entry for single person is $7.5 for exploring the farm and festival.
Plenty of yummy food options vegan as well. Beautiful jewelery and Tees/ oils/ linen spray/ body butter/ cuticle balm/ shampoo and conditioner balms/ bath bombs and so much more.

We had a great time painting lavender Gnomes and everyone is so nice!

Great place for a date, my wife and I spent a couple of hours wandering through the fields and then spent some time in the gift shop. We left with some wonderful lavender oil and some beautiful pictures. It was time well spent and it was a low cost adventure. Next time we will time our visit with one of their many festivals. High recommendation for a venue or for photographers.

We walked until we were exhausted!! So much lavender to choose from!! The bouquets to take home were lovely gifts to ourselves!! Glorious weather and sweet employees!! Thank you!!🪻♥

Heaven in Imlay City…you’ll think you’re in heaven when you stop by and wander through rows and rows of lavender. There are different types to choose from to make your unique bouquets. The lavender flowers look beautiful, smell heavenly and there are plenty of spots to take selfies and photos of your loved ones. Plus, this a heaven for the bees 🐝 Guess what? They even do yoga 🧘‍♀ on the farm. How cool and relaxing is that ? Namaste 🙏🏻 and pick some lavender.

We had a great time visiting from Harbor Beach with a guest from Madrid. Our first visit.

Had an amazing time, I did the upick for $15 and got a ton of lavender. They had a great variety of lavender mixed scents for soaps and such, and the staff was extremely friendly! I spent over $80 and got A LOT of different stuff, everything was decently priced and a on awesome quality. 10/10 would go again.

As Mackinaw is for lilacs, this is heavenly for lavender.
July is a perfect time to visit here. The scent fills the atmosphere. Pretty picture spot too.
Visit the tiny shop for cute rustic craft, jams jellies, soaps, sachets... All using lavender of course. Support the local artists!

Love this place. I try to visit every year and it's definitely worth the drive!

This place is a dream for my photo shoots! The fields are very luscious with many varieties, they have fantastic hours and offer classes and other events for hands on people too! The staff has always been super nice and the environment is always very very clean and inviting!
Don't miss the chance to stop buy and cut your own bundle of lavender. Its a great experience!

This is a really nice place to spend the day! Smelling the lavender and seeing the animals and flowers. I went with a coworker and we had such a great time and got some great pictures!

I love going here! It smells so lovely. People that work there are very nice and helpful. They offer yoga and painting parties certain times of the year. Love it!

The gardens looked beautiful! And the store was well kept and with friendly attendant. We were only passing through and didn't know it was there, but will be planning a trip back to spend more time for sure!!

Absolutely loved it. Lavender is in peak bloom, just gorgeous! Tons and tons of space, the lavender just keeps going and going. Stuff for the kids to do, animals, fresh farm eggs, so many great finds in the farm store with many local MI artists. Their events are great too with plenty of space that you do not feel on top of other people. Highly highly recommend!

beautiful place. smells amazing. the 3 of us got a $15 band of lavender to take home. the staff was really nice. in the store the have a variety of lavender infused items. we got a cookie, lavender honey, and some lavender melts

I went for the Michigan Lavender Festival- it was a beautiful, peaceful experience. I really enjoyed doing the U-Pick bundle, while a friend of mine enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful weather while I was collecting my bundle. I was also delighted to see that they encourage honeybees to visit their lavender, as we need these precious pollinators more than ever.

Beautiful farm and a nice little store with lavender goods. We loved spending time in the rows of lavender with bees buzzing around busily. Such a great way to spend an afternoon.
