Besides the store front having no sign outside, this is a convenience store with a back room full of old hair supplies. We were followed to the back and watched. When we got rung up, the clerk gave the Asian man a free bag for his things. When it was our turn, the clerk wanted to charge .50 cents for the bag and proceeded to say she gave the man before a free bag. When I explained how unfair that was, she then gave me the bag for free. The unsettling feeling going inside and the blatant racism upon entering was very disheartening. Being that this establishment is in a clearly poor neighborhood (projects), they should be opening and welcoming to their customers.
