Everything about our party was too notch.... everyone had a great time. No one had to oversee the party ... they had everything perfect. Food food and more food came out .... cocktails were perfect and they provided a large clean space for our party. Bathrooms were spotless. What a Great time

Update: Just went back this evening excellent as always. There was a little mishap with some peppers in a sauce and my sister cannot eat peppers they switched it out very quickly and took care of it.

Everyone goes here for the pot pie and it definitely did not disappoint. The portion was large everything was well done and tasted awesome. Mike was our server and he was exceptional. The music was a little loud, but beautiful place. The main food was awesome however the crackers and bread probably could use a little bit of an upgrade, I know they could do better.

We LOVE Smithville Inn! Our experience with Smithville Estate is always exceptional! The venue's quaint setting always provide such an idyllic vibe for any couple's special day. It is also very apparent that their team always goes above and beyond for each and every one of their couples!

My husband and I had to send back our food on both dishes as they were prepared in a large bowl as if it were a soup dish. I ordered the short ribs which was full of fatty meat. My husband ordered the chicken with crab same thing prepared like soup in a bowl.
We sent back both dishes. We figured at $37.00 a piece the crab cakes would be a winner. Crab cakes looked great on the plate and the presentation looked yummy but they were very disappointing. Full of bread and filler. Thee Worst crab cakes I ever had. Atmosphere is what you’re paying for. Salad that comes with meal was very tiny. We will not be going back again.

Dear Erin and the Smithville Team, I am so happy to say, the “birthday girl” was surprised and delighted at her 65th party.
The guests were very enamored of the setting and delicious food. The menu was spot on, well prepared and presented. The filet and salmon were perfect and well complimented by the spinach salad, roasted vegetables, and fresh fruit.
We had guests from Boston, Philadelphia, and locally. Everyone was so relaxed and satisfied, they just lingered rather than get on the road. Super fun day.
Rebecca gave us IMPECCABLE service and I highly recommend your venue to any one that wants a super celebration for a milestone or just a cozy and delicious afternoon or evening out.

The Rack of Lamb was perfect. The Crab Imperial was loaded with real lump Crab and very tasty. Everyone we engaged conversation with was very pleasant. The Manager did a table touch to check on everything. Other food coming from the kitchen looked great and the portions were very nice.

The perfect wedding venue. I was beginning to give up my hopes of finding a rustic romantic wedding venue in the South Jersey area until I found Smithville. This venue fit my wedding vision perfectly and planning a wedding with Smithville was seamless ✨
The entire staff was so accommodating and helpful. The food was amazing. I wish I had more time to savor it but you know how weddings go. They partner with Bake Works in Northfield; the wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. The day of I felt truly important to everyone there. I’m so happy I went with Smithville. Would definitely recommend for your special day!

First time here yesterday, and I was blown away at not only the food, but the ambiance as well! Really cool old building with an enormous fireplace as you walk in. Very homey. The food was slammin’ too! Had this Salmon nacho dish that was incredible! The bacon app was also inhaled at the table immediately. My turkey lunch was huge, and just the perfect comfort food for a cold day. Really cool spot, and it’s a must if you are in the area.

We had an amazing time celebrating my hubby and son's birthday 🎂. Food was excellently cooked. Drinks made to taste my son and daughter in law ordered more than one. Atmosphere was very pleasant there was a wedding at the same time we dined. It was great to reminisce on ours as we watched the bride walk down the aisle. We plan to come again thank you for such awesome service.

My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary 💕 and can honestly say the atmosphere, food, and service were spot on. Kelly, our server was totally awesome, and her wine recommendation was perfect. Thank you 😊

We had an amazing dinner at the Smithville Inn. Service was great and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Regarding the bar area: The bar isn’t very large, but if it’s not crowded it has a nice atmosphere. The fireplace on a cold night is great.

A beautiful inn and the true reason that the town is here in the first place. This restaurant is genuinely historic to its bones and you can see it for yourself when you are here. The current management has done a wonderful job of keeping up a high standard as everything is perfect. What else could possibly be said?

Just had a party of 12 to celebrate two birthdays. Kim was fantastic in accommodating our group into two tables side by side even though it was fully booked. Food and service was great. The atmosphere was fantastic. We’ll be back again for sure!

One of my favorite restaurants on the planet; been coming here since I was a kid in the 70s. Really good wine list, great duck, lamb, pork chop, and of course the signature chicken pot pie. Tony, Laura, and Rene are awesome. I miss sommelier Ron, but Tony took care of us tonight.

I volunteer for CONTACT Reassurance program. We had our luncheon at The Smithville Inn. We had our choice of Chicken, Pasta, and Crab cake. We had a Caesar salad, crab cake, rice with dice carrots, and green beans. The dessert was a slice of cheesecake with drizzled with a strawberry sauce. The choice of beverages were water and ice tea. We carried on with awards and business for the luncheon.

Lovely restaurant and they accommodated our party by putting us in our own dining room! Friendly service. Excellent food. Satisfying choices and kid friendly options.

This place is super classy and the food in outstanding. The service and drinks are as well. Always a perfect drink!! Never a complaint here. Always happy. From the best burgers, tuna steak and filet to the veggie wrap, everything perfect. My girlfriend and I have plans for Valentine's day to eat dinner here and we can't wait! If you visit Smithville this is the place to eat!

Had a great dinner experience at The Smithville Inn! The staff was awesome, very accommodating and helpful. There were 13 of us and service was perfect! Food was delicious! No one at our table had a bad meal, everyone loved the food. For some, it was their first time at the Inn and said they can't wait to come back.
