JJ’s Diner

Excellent diner with very friendly staff. Food was excellent and a very cozy atmosphere. Great for breakfast or brunch. Had the French toast and it was soft but also a good crisp edge. Very good.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. We came from Virginia and were looking for a good breakfast. Luckily we came across this place that serves breakfast and lunch at any time. I had the Mexican omelette and my husband had the buffalo chicken sub. The food was great, but the service was even better! Beth is amazing! She read our minds and brought everything we could have wanted before we even asked for it. Highly recommend!

This place popped up on Yelp after a closer bereakfast option failed us. So glad chance brought us to JJs!!! The food was great and the service was even better! My group was up from NC for a cheer competition and our server Ms Patty was excellent and attentive. We all had a variety of dishes. Delicious sandwich options (i had the reuben), the fries had a perfect cook on them and the breakfast food was good. Grits were slow cooked and tasted just like they should. I highly recommend JJs and I hope we get a chnace to go back before we leave!

We always try to go here but there is always a await. We got in today and french onion soup to die for. The chicken noodle was great too. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and my husband the roast beef sandwich both great if you can get in go for it.

Food is great. Staff is friendly and nice. Coffee is fresh.

Carol The Waitress Was Awesome And Welcomed us told Us The Soup Of day and Told Us The Fire cracker Fish Wrap Was Delicious So We Both Ordered And The Strawberry Short Cake Was Moist And Delicious

Patty/Debbie/Sally and everyone are the best. Accommodated our large party quickly and made us feel so at home. Chicken and waffle signature was more than perfect. Good quality boneless chicken with a delicious crisp. The gravy is sweet and one of a kind. JJ’s never fails.

I do not get the return home to Pleasantville very often but inevitably, whenever I return, I HAVE to have breakfast at a diner! On this visit, we went to J and Js Diner to celebrate my step father's birthday and as expected, I fully enjoyed my meal as did my mother and stepfather! Portion sizes were large and we all took food home (also expected!). The one thing I found unusual was that the restaurant closed at 2 pm...very strange; I'm not used to diners being closed in the middle of the day...if at all!

We live in Central Pennsylvania so whenever we go to New Jersey or New York we find a diner. This diner did not disappoint. The day we visited they were so busy and everybody did their job bustling around each other. I was impressed

Excellent breakfast and lunch. Plenty of variety on the menu to choose from. Prices are much lower than any other diner in Atlantic County which probably explains why she is packed every single day of the week. Great food, always solid service. You cannot go wrong here

Updating a review I left 3 years ago. Still as good as ever. I have been going to this place pretty consistently since they first opened on Delilah Road.

I used to see the owner working on the restaurant before they opened when driving by. On my first visit there, I was surprised at how cheap everything on the menu was. Despite the cheap price, everything I tried was delicious. I have been to many diners across the state and I really considered this as possibly the best diner I had ever been to.

When I tried their Chicken and Waffle, it pretty much cemented them as the best diner I ever had the pleasure of dining in. I brought in a lot of my coworkers to try this dish.

Whenever friends or family are visiting, I try my best to get us to go to JJ's. It was somewhat difficult to in their old location since space was so limited. One thing I didn't like was how crowded it was in their old location when they became famous. Now that they have moved to a new location, I feel more comfortable with inviting coworkers, friends, and family there.

The service here is awesome. I usually sit in Carol's area because she always takes such good care of me. But everyone who works there is great. The food is good and prices are reasonable. I love eating there & I know a lot of people that love it there also.

Every single time I eat here, I am impressed! I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything is delicious. The service, the atmosphere all top notch. On a side note, I love tuna fish, and they use white tuna, just the right amount of mayo, delish!

One of the best diners I've been to. Breakfast food was great, staff were very friendly and timely as well. The atmosphere is what is expected of a diner.

We recently used JJ’s diner for a repast luncheon, Debbie was awesome helping us set up a time and helping us arrange the menu. We had 30 people there on a Friday early afternoon, the waitresses were great! We choose to let everyone order from the menu, the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals.
We frequently go to JJ’s because the food and service is always great.
I definitely would recommend them for a function based on our experience.

Just moved to the area and stopped in for lunch. Hubby got the French toast and orange juice and I got the French onion soup, garden salad, and French fries. All was very good. Will be back and will ask for Joanne. She was such a sweetheart!

Waitress very nice. Food delish. I got the corned beef made from fresh corned beef. Over mefoum eggs cooked perfect and country potatoes made with fresh onions and peppers. Staying in AC but took the small drive to the diner. Do worth it. Reasonable prices too

Food was BOMB DOT COM! Me and both of my friends loved everything. Out waitress was very personable and knowledge of the area. She gave a great beach referral and was all around friendly. The food was amazing. The fruit atop all of our food was FRESH. Tasted like they had a garden in the back yard. First place ive ever been where the good looks like the pictures. And taste how you want it to.
