Freshtown Marketplace

Stopped there on a trip to look at Soapstone fireplaces. We picked up made to order sandwiches and some salads for a quick lunch. Food was delicious. Staff was very help. Made for a very nice break from our roadtrip.

Decent supermarket situated in the Catskill ski area. It was a 15 mins drive from where we stayed. Had everything we needed. Nice cash register lady. And CVS is right next door.

Fabulous service, especially at the Deli Counter! Good quality of food is available throughout the entire store.

Classic mountain/rural supermarket. Hours were good and they had a lot of stuff.

Good size supermarket well stocked and clean. Plenty of cashier's too so no long lines, customer oriented. Plenty of parking. If they were any better I couldn't afford to shop there!

Staff is very helpful. The cashier though. Maybe it was a long day. Was a little bit harsh but they had everything that we wanted. Everything looked pretty fresh. I would definitely go back

When I lived in the area this was my go to supermarket for food shopping. Sometimes there was a bit of a line but it always went quick.

Full supermarket with everything you want from meat to fish and everything in between. I don't really price check much so not sure what their prices were compared to other markets in the area but I never really raised an eyebrow about anything. Unless you are looking for a ton of organic products or speciality items they will have it.

This is a great store with nice people who work there. They have a great variety of items. They have a respectable beer selection and good produce. And I happen to know the deli counter has 4 kinds of potato salad, 4 kinds! I went with the German style, pretty good. I'm very happy with this store.

Great produce. Excellent selection of grocery items and well priced home goods like the glass pyrex pie dish.

My go to supermarket when I am in the Catskills. Has many high quality groceries and a large variety of things (such as different kinds of milk). There is a long line usually but there are many things to get as well.

Behind it, there is a large lot and a rope swing which are great for events and swimming in the summer.

Fresh produce, perfect vacation home stock up, bought all the cleaning supplies for the summer and found some nice saga blue cheese, and also an Indian food section, not bad....going back to cabin, blast some music, do some cleaning and snacking..perfect day!

As a visitor to the Catskills, I was pleasantly surprised at the range of goods stocked here (compared to other ‘supermarkets’ in the area). For example, extra virgin olive oil - they had a few options vs none at the other nearby store. Full fresh fresh produce section, dairy section, deli counter, etc. Bonus - there’s a CVS right next door.

I go camping in Sullivan county every summer and used to buy all my groceries for the trip prior to departure, but since discovering Freshtown, I don't worry about that anymore. This place offers a top notch selection of everything for such a rural store. I make it my first stop when I visit the area. Excellent store.

The deli has the best products & friendliest staff, one of the few places that offer Boar's Head cold cuts. The produce & meat departments are always knowledgeable and quick to assist. I have always been check out at the register with a smile.
